The physics in shift suck. The cars drive like ridge racer. Its no simulation just because the cockpit is shaking a little bit more than in fm4. I hated shift 1+2 after playing it for a while and so i sold it. ;-)

I think Forza is a great game. I bought it for Xbox. But when i hear that Shift and Shift 2 are shit it's just stupid. The detail inside the cars are better at Shift 1 than Forza 4 and face it. You will dislike my comment because most of you love Forza, i do to but i also think that Shift is an awesome game. Even though it doesn t have 999999999999 cars it's still a game worth playing. I don't want to start a comment war liek Forza4 vs GT5. All of them are good in their own way.

@DocHavoc0512 I have always been a GT girl but I felt so fustrated with the new edition. The way the gear changes is fake also. The handling is ok but lacks mechanical grip. Plus there is more emphassis on taking picture and watching the computer drive for you while you sit there for hours watching it crash. Lets not forget the awful ai. Codemasters on the other hand are the closest to real life you can ever get. F1 2010/2011 games are simply out-of-this-world. Grid wasnt too bad either.

Ok let me settle all this talk with forza and gran turismo. Gran turismo is a driving simulator so it's more realistic and forza is a racing game like the others racing games but abut more realistic like for example need for speed like how you can go like 250 mph in a corvette, so guys can you stop comparing the both they are two totally different games.

I was disappointed at the demo, the car handling is still sloppy. I buy all the latest motor sports games so you can't say i'm inexperienced at judging these sort of things. I'm not sure why people hate shift 2 so much, personally i loved it, crashing is frighteningly realistic, tuning actually makes a difference when your doing the drag and Standing Mile events.

The problem with Forza sound is that is has a recorded quality- there's no denying that it sounds good- as if it's been recorded in a studio where the engineer cares more about quality rather than authenticity. Good example being the sound of the tire sliding- tell me if in real life that sound is both uniform and predictable. It's not but in Forza it always sound the same.

With GT5 there's less predictability. Get a good earbud if you can't afford a good 7.1 setup.
