In my opinon i think snow should have gotten Alexander, looking at a logic standpoint, Snow makes a great Tank/Sentinel, and has a weapon called Paladin, so it would have seemed just to give him the summon that is a holy knight that transforms into a wall, oh well

Actually, logic would dictate that some of the characters gets Eidolon's that compensates for their weak points. Hope is a glass cannon, hits hard but is quite fragile, so he gets Alexander to reinforce his defenses. While Snow does less damage than the others and are by far the slowest, so he got the Shiva sisters, allowing him to get around quickly, not to mention being able to do alot of damage while doing so.

yeah! nice team buddy! so you think that Hope is better as Ravager because his magic attack is the highest? now i am only at chapter 3 so technically i am only at the beginning of the game, for now i use lightning (attacker) snow (command) vanille (command) - i can only use them at this point of the game - and when my hp are at 50% - 60% i switch Vanille as a healer...thanks for the advice dude! ;)

@cambilpiz Hope is a better healer than Vanille in the end. She might be able to heal better, but she lacks the Synergist skills (Protect/Shell/Faith/Bravery/V­eil). If you want to go damage, you go with Fang. Fang does the most damage out of all the characters, especially if you equip her with strength boosting gear. Where Lightning/Hope are only doing 5k, Fang is doing over 12-15k.

@cambilpiz The most rounded team is Lightning/Fang/Hope. Certain characters are stronger in their field, but those three make up for it by covering all the bases. Fang is a must have. She debuffs the enemy, soaks up the damage, then when Lightning/Hope tag team and chain the mob, switch Fang to commando and watch the Launch combos rake in.

Haha. Then you'll be grinding CP for hours just to get to the same level. I actually thought I was going to do an all female team, but Hope kinda grows on ya after awhile, especially when he gets Haste and all the Blizzaga/Firaga/Thundaga. It turns into a maelstrom.

It is really the player's preference. Since you are allowed to "Master" all Roles with each character, it lets the player use who they see fit. I use the "Strike Team" Paradigm with Lightning/Snow as Commando, and Sazh as a Synergist, and I have been wrecking face all day with that set up. Sazh is actually a really good support character. Snow is an HP "whore" who can tank like anything(he is rocking like 8000HP in my party), and Lightning is just Lightning...

True. Although 'master' doesn't mean they get everything. Like even if you put points into Vanilles Sentinel, I don't think she'd come close to Snow/Fang. On a side note, I had Fang hitting mobs and bosses for 99999 today. it was just fantastic.

I like how I was Grinding, and didn't even know that I 999,999CP in stock for Venille, Hope, and Fang(because I don't use them in my team, so it took like 7-9min to use all the CP with them....

I really am having a good time with FFXIII I just beat it and now i'm on like mission 26 on side quests. But do not forget, there are more then likely going to be DLC and there is that big red dude that we saw eating a turtle. I know there has to be a way to fight him, he can't be walking around just for show, so there has to be DLC or some crazy way to get to it

I agree with Final fantasy 4 for being probably the best ff game. Cecil was amazing!! Ff7 definitly had the best storyline and shockers, but right now I'm really have been liking ff13 it was worth the wait and it's probably one of the best ff games for it's gameplay and story, it does need more free roaming and mini games/side quests if ff13 had more of that it would probably be one of the best ff games yet I can't wait to get versus!
