No such thing as perfect bowling skill, there is good bowling technique. The "skill" is how good your technique is. How balanced you are at the line, your follow through, your approach, reaching out, hitting your mark, etc. None of that is "skill" it is all technique.

No one can ever master any sport, to master bowling you would have to throw a perfect game, every game for the rest of your life. Which is why I said "good bowling technique" notice the "good", because no one's technique is always perfect, it can be perfect sometimes, but never always. Oh, this is somehow half cheat as Synthetic Twister Pins were used for this perfect game and Twister Pins were supposed to bring in high scoring which in a sense unfair test on perfect skills.

basically it comes down to wrist action... curl wrist up for more hook (cranking) or flatten it for straighter throws, also your release helps the curve or not... just watch some videos..

Steps to hook:

1) Get your ball drilled fingertip

2) If you can't get your thumb out, get whatever that powder stuff it.

3) Make sure sure your thumb comes out first and that your hand is at the side of the ball at the release point.

4) Lift up with your hand and fingers in order to produce enough revs.

Note that you will not be able to do this if your hand is on the top of the ball. Build wrist strength first, and DON'T exaggerate the movement, or else you will probably get top spin.

Thats cause they never have to move. When you have 8 or 9 righties on the same lanes at the same time oil will vanish in a hurry.

i wont say that all left handed bowlers are good but left handers have an advantage over right handers because left handers naturally curve the ball. you see a right handed bowler has to turn his hand to get the desired curve he wants but a left hander can simply throw the ball straight without turning his hand and he will get desired curve. this is because the hands of the left hander are naturally turned wen bowling so they dont have to worry about the ball not curvin.lefty: 1 righty: 0 .lol

yes thats wat im sayin, and if u dont believe me how about u go ask any bowling coach, professional bowler or bowling ball technician in a pro shop. they will all tell u the same thing, its alot about bowling that u may not understand but it is true that they are different. now i dont mean different sayin one hand is different than the other, but im sayin that the left hand naturally has a slight slant or turn in it so its easier for a lefty to curve the ball than a righty, but dont take my word
