From experience there seemed to be three things that caused my oil glands to act up more than anything. 1. Dry skin, (very important to use moisturizers everyday) 2. staying up late. 3. dairy products, milk especially is loaded with hormones that trigger oil glands to go in overdrive. Eliminating milk and other dairy products from your diet would be a big improvement.

Humans didn't evolve consuming milk from another animal. The people who are healthiest are vegans. I'm not a pro animals rights nut, I'm just stating a fact, vegans are healthier on average and yes they live longer too. I like my meat, I don't plan on going vegan but I would be healthier if I did.

Sleeping with your face touching the pillow is also a no-no. Cuz it doesn't allow your skin to breathe and repair itself properly while you're sleeping. Plus, whatever detergent you use to wash your pillowcase could affect your skin. It's hard to control, cuz you're unconscious, but you'll eventually fall into the habit of sleeping on your back. I still battle acne, but it's gotten better over the years. People say it's a myth, but I've noticed that eating right definitely helps.
Hey man I know exactly where you are coming from with the acne. I have acne too, and have had it since same time you've had it. It will get better with time, drinks plenty of water and make a subconsious decision to NOT touch your face ( EVER ) its very hard but you will notice a huge difference, even a slight touch from the tip of your finger to your face can implant LOTS of oil ( as your hands generally carry the most germs and oils ) so yeah touching face is a no - no. Everything you said, is a story of my life. Acne sucks, it hurts you physically, emotionally, and mentally. It has ruined my social life completely. My doctor put me on Acctutane 2 weeks ago. Things are a little better but again, I feel like it may come back.

I've got acne caused by genetics/hormones. im 22 and my acne STILL causes me problems and probably will for a few more years. Its cystic and painful! my mother suggested accutain once, but after having the dermatologist tell me about it im like hell no. anti biotics work for a little while, but just like everything else they stop working. Proactive was a complete joke. all it did was ruin a few of my shirts from the bleaching effects.
I am 14 and started getting acne around 12 or 13, Before my acne was barely noticeable and at the time, I've had quite a few girls checking me out, Im not bragging, but when it got worse, it got WORSE! After one would go away, it would get replaced by one, and then 2 and then 3 and then next thing you know it, my whole face is broken out. minocycline is not good for you it cause serious side affect. some research shows that some of the causes of lupus is cause by minocyline.

your a cute guy so you can pull it off,trust me you can,your acne in my opinion isnt even bad enough to think about,compared to mine atleast.what i use now works but takes longer than i would like it to.i was thinking about accutane but things like what you say worry me.thank you for this video its inspiring to people who deal with this issue.we must remember its temporary and if not its just skin,doesnt make us ugly just makes us have acne,self love and confidence gets the girls not clear skin.
