It's positive & refreshing to hear Winnipeg getting back its NHL franchise. Canada getting its professional hockey teams back is a step in the right direction. Now, the next step is for NHL hockey being brought back to the Quebec capital. I hear Phoenix's & Miami's NHL clubs not doing so well either attendance-wise or money-wise. Gary Bettman should consider moving both of those teams to Quebec City & Hartford (two cities that lost teams years ago).

Either Bettman is anti-Canadian or he's a horrible businessman. Seriously, did he understand the NHL? If you suck long enough, you collect high end draft picks. If you get enough, you've got an all star team, which is what happened to the Quebec franchise once it went to Colorado. Don't tell me he couldn't sell that to an owner, since he managed to do it to some moron who agreed to ship the Jets to Phoenix. And who thought a sunny golfing district was better than Winnipeg? DUHHHH....

@surfer53 Yep, Bettman is the worst thing to happen to the NHL. Thanks to him we have nice mind melting names like Eastern and Western conference, yes, just throw the historical AND VERY SIGNIFICANT names out the window like it's nothing.
