Might want to try the Kahr P380 works great in the smart carry ;-) easier to carry around in general than a full sized gun anyway.

Great review. I have been thinking about getting this holster for a long time. Nice to see a demo from someone not on the payroll. One of my concerns is the "boner factor". Now that you have had it longer, what do you think? Does it work better with some shorts or pants that are a little more baggy?

I just received my smart carry security edition-I was surprised-its an awsome holster -My glock 30/45 acp is securue,the holster is both comfortable and invisible. The light colored pants you are wearing in the video may seem like an issue to you, but I didn't see anything abnormal-dark colored pants maybe a waist size bigger will make the holster totally invisible-imho

I carry a Glock 36 or Glock 26 in mine. I have had it for about 2 years. I only wear it when I can't wear one of my pistols concealed on my hip holster or my inside the waist band holster. I have found the SmartCarry quite comfortable once I learned how to wear it. Everyone is different and it is not for everyone. I love mine and with practice the presentation of the weapon becomes quite fast.

I bought a knock off brand on eBay a couple of months ago and have carried almost every day since, using only this holster. I love it. As smokinondro247, I wear mine to the left showing the main printing from the butt of the pistol under your zipper (since I'm right handed).I know some comments below are negative towards this holster but don't dog it until you have tried it consistently. I carry a HK compact 9mm which is not considered easily concealable due to its larger size. Good Luck!

i wear mine so that it sits over my left thigh instead of my crotch. Just the way I prefer to wear it. Easier to go to the bathroom and puts the bulge from the butt of the grip on my zipper flap. A lot less inconspicuous. By the way I carry a Ruger P95 in mine with the extra clip it makes 31 rounds of 9mm a lot easier to carry in the most concealed means possible.

LOL- I feel you man, I really do. One other pearl of wisdom I have is that it is really easy to feel like- if your gun imprints a little on your clothes- that everyone will instantly notice it like a giant red dot on your forehead.

The reality is, 99% of people just don't take the time to notice. Think about it, how many times to you check a guy's armpit or waistband for a gun imprint? You probably more than others being a CCW holder, but still not much.

Just some friendly advice IMHO, as a CCW Sheepdog, Black is your best friend. It conceals the absolute best and doesn't cast a shadow if you happen to imprint.

On your draw, you reveal your gun with you off (left) hand. That is the hand that you disengage the thumbreak with before you draw. Should make it easier.

Also, I carry a Glock 19, same size-weight, in a IWB at 4-5o'clock. The same place where you're phone holster is. Shorts and a t-shirt work fine to conceal.

This is useful if you are going to a club or somewhere that frisks you before entering to make sure your not armed.. Then after you enter you can put the weapon in your pocket or whatever other way you choose to carry.. But for daily carry.. I don 't think this has a use. Maybe on the beach if your not going to enter the water. Other then that it's useless.. Slow draw and risk of shooting your nuts off.. Not something I want in a holster..

I have one, seems to work / hide very well smaller guns like a Keltec or Kahr 380. Glocks and XD style even sub com are just too thich in the grip to hide 100% unless wearing long shirt or over it.

it works well with my glock 27. I can do xd45 but I prefer the glock and snub revolvers. I use it almost every day.
