A little dissonant/perhaps slightly out of tune from the outset, yet intonation issues were promptly resolved. Perhaps more low reeds would have balanced the pyramid of sound; then again, it is difficult to determine due to the recording. In total, this was an outstanding arrangement/orchestration and a command performance by this ensemble-should be performing at Interlochen! (The New York Otto Link mouthpiece was a good choice, too, by the alto sax soloist.)
