Thanks for the info, The original lineup was primarily an Instrumental group and had a few successful releases in Melbourne before their association with Normie Rowe, I have great memories of the Playboys and Colin Buckley and the Raiders at the Circle Ballroom in Preston, my first experience of live Guitar rock in the early 60's.
When Normie Rowe began his career (at the Circle Ballroom in Preston, Melbourne) the Playboys were Phil Blackmore, Neil McArthur, Billy Billings, Graham Trottman and John Cartwright. Are these guys a later version?
This is the changed line-up for Normie's UK trip in late 1966.
John Cartwright left and was not replaced. Brian Peacock replaced Neil (bass) & Rod Stone replaced Billy (Guitar) Both these guys were formerly in NZ group, "The Librettos."
