ASSIMILATING: Adapting to our surroundings

There is nothing wrong with Afro African blacks to structually assimilate! That is, Afro African blacks have every right to marry and procreate with European white people so the children can be MORE European white and LESS Afro African black...which in effect would be assimilating structually!

However, I don't think it's right to assimilate especially if it's being done for the wrong reasons....unless of course the couple is truely in love...then it's ok!

Ok this is what I think u brought many good points in your vid we black people been through so much racism in this country that it has blinded us from well them not me but from the means of success & education I think when U preach 2 your kids that white people hate U it does more harm than good and let me explain

In addition my mom preached the same thing 2 me white folks don't care about u which is true 2 a certain degree but I came 2 find it's many of them do care but my friends who are all black skipped school and all this because they themselves said 2 me we not making no white man brainwash us which lead 4 them to steal, go to prison and a few dead so when I hear these preach O cracka's O us I view them as the problems of the black community MLK taught us to love not hate

pt 2Those of us that drop out usually have underlying issues such as illiteracy, poverty, & hungry. Anything better be it person place or thing gets diss'd out of the frustration of what's really going on MLK is one of my favs but his dream speech will have the majority of us OB-S-O-L-ETE by the time immigration reform gets done! I only hate the way they LOVE to make money off EVERTHING we do.

Man I know what you mean, it's easy to "hate" harder to care & or explain. I agree there are some whites that will help you before "we" will contrary to Jimmy lynch syndrome. They know by our actions if we have potential or not and those of us in "politics" know nigga talk don't get votes it only sells records.

wow. Thanks for the comment Malcom. My peeps as well "do what they do" for the same reasons. and with fewer and fewer choices and jobs... I dont expect the trend to change any time soon. If only we could encourage them to make the most out of what benefits their "immediate household/community" so that they both thrive after I/we/you/they stop or leave.
