@MiyukiYuki Not in Secret's case. If you're talking about Secret then you would never expect the music of the teaser in the MV. If you check, They did the same with Shy Boy, Madonna and Magic, which are their main singles. However, the music in the teaser will always be included in the album. In Shy Boy, it was called 'Intro', in Madonna it was the song 'Empty Space', and in Magic they put a part of an instrumental song. This time you can hear in the teaser the song 'Honey'. Hope it helps ;D

In order to survive the kpop industry and top the charts, a group or an artist has to have to a unique sense of style (not just fashion but in terms of music style/genre).

like 2ne1 who adapted the hip-hop style (lots of swag right?!), SNSD started the cutesy craze with girl groups (different themes and dance step every song), secret has songs and themes that has a 70's and 60's vibe, whereas Afterschool has that fierce and a tinge of school spirit performances...etc.
