i'm certainly not suggesting that american fans of the gaslight anthem are any less appreciative or whole hearted in their enjoyment of their music.... i was merely highlighting that have 'some' mainstream chart success; predominantly in europe. I have no doubt though that their biggest and most hardcore fans live in the U.S. I'm very thankful for a platform such as youtube allowing so many different people to be able to hear their brilliance, and to hear some of their awesome acoustic versions

@OakRidgePunk777 spot on buddy..... They are bigger in europe than the u.s. (i'm english). Their highest chart position was #8 (for american slang, but did reach #16 on the billboard charts over in the u.s). I think i probably represent the majority view when i say that brian and the guys don't get anywhere near the recgonition or success they deserve! but to be honest i quite like the fact that when people ask "who?" when i tell them my favourite band!!

tune your guitar a full stepp down then play Em C G D for intro and chorus and alternatingly Em C G G and Bm C G G for the verse. what he does in the prechorus is playing on the high e-string (or in this case d-string) 10(x3)-8-7-7(x4)-5. for the bridge i think it is Em Bm C D
