Think before you speak really! Gen has a level 1 being it's cheaper, while being an efficient spell. This is JMS, they don't have % potions like GMS. Also note this is 2007! They're using Sunrise Dews, which is really expensive I'm sure to buy.

GMS has % potions, and pretty much a greater ratio of % to meso cost. Gen is 100 MP per 10 M.Att cost, I've got a level 12 and it eats too much MP.

And so on, up to 20 which is 4000 MP!

Besides everyone can have their own build, I was commenting that level 1 Gen is still decent enough. 10 m.att bonus for 100 mp more, isn't exactly worthwhile past maybe 10-12? I have a Bishop, I know!

a maxed big bang is better for mobbing than angel's ray. it does bigger dmg on *holy* creatures while angel's ray doesnt, so its a usefull skill to train on something not unholy....

Level 1: 2100MP 430 M.Att, on ONE monster, maybe you didn't catch that, ONE monster. Unless you are a idiot and using genesis against a single monster then it is much more than what you said, If you go to harps you'll be hitting 10-15 monsters each use, therefore

2100MP and 6450 M.Att against 15 monsters.

I Don't play private servers and have arch mage in bera so i guess you can see me playing an Actual Arch mage like i can see you playing your bishop.

Where does it say it hits only 1 monster? It's not like you add up all the damage, it's the amount used on all enemies. So in otherwords you'd say I do over 120k damage, per gen?

That's only if you add it up across all enemies, I don't see the point besides trying to look superior in damage.

Ok first of all, if you hit 120k damage if you add up your damage from 15 monsters you should buy something better than a lv 10 wand.

Well it can be used against one monster. Wow, my point wasn't that it can only be used against 1 monster, it's that it's 430 M.att per monster, not 430 M.att in total. You add up all the damage to all the monsters to figure out efficiency not for bragging rights. lets say i hit 40k per gene, that's 600,000 damage per gene. Making it 285 damage per 1 mp.

absorb 30% of their mp at a 20% chance

idk if those are the actual stats for mp eater, but simply from this your math is wrong.

20% chance with 15 monsters (because gene hits 15 max) works out to 3 monsters/15.

30% of a monster's mp at 1000mp is around 333 mp.

that means a bishop could recover 1000 mp per 15 monster mob, a rare occurrence at that.

This rox!!! Bishops get angel ray which is as strong as I/L mage's thunder spear. Lvl 1 genesis does 430 base dmg, while max dk dragon roar does only 250. Bishops also have highest map kill skill dmg among all mages (670 base dmg) Really nice improvement from the weak clerics

Firstly, in jms, zhelm aren't like in gms: they are nerfed.Zakum drop zhelm that give +4 to all stat, that are tradeable and sold for 500m+++ at fm.You can upgrade it to +10 stats but it's very costly in items.

Also, my 120 gms mage doesn't even have a zhelm, well i don't want to pay a single meso for it, i wanna earn it ;)

MP eater work with genesis yeah, but you know bains have around 200 mp, so even taking the mp of the 15 bains(It's possible, but with a very low chance) I will only recover 900 mp :p
