I'd love to reply to each and every comment, but this video is 4 years old, and I've had no action for the last 4 years....all of the sudden I've been getting 5-6 comments per week over the last two months and I can't keep up. Did Infidel Guy mobilize all of you or what!
Most people in the US consider themselves christians in some form or another thats why its the main target. You can do anything as a chrisitian. How many athiest presidents do you know of? There is no Chance for them to get elected if they do not atleast fake being christian or religious. athiests are tired of being looked down on as if we are bad moraless people by christains (not all of them of course do this).
I guess that should'a been "dirt/magic-man" to more fully represent what Sky-Daddy did. Oh, and "rib/magic-woman", to complete the species. And some Christians have a problem with with the concept of ~3.9 *billion* years of evolution??? Wow. Just wow.
But at least there are millions upon millions upon millions of Christians that can grasp evolution, so we're heading in the right direction. This from effectively zero in late 1859.
And how about an agenda of truth and knowledge - good, huh?
Oh, and BTW, your arbitrary definition of Christianity is of course, ludicrous. You claim what is *actually* the definition of 'Christian' when there's ~22,000 sects of Xianity with different ideas, but you with your apparent God-complex *knows*! Ha!
Also, perhaps others think your music tastes just suck, but since you don't reference (yet again!) any specific music, you have zero credibility with this - that's not enough to me convincing.
You complain about IG and a lack of references (though I don't recall you mentioning specifics of what he said to make you complain), then you go on to do the same thing. What belittling, please? What 'making fun of'? And what did you consider 'snarky'? Where are *your* references, please?
Also, your 'Jesus' can be no threat at all - just like (I assume, but correct me if needed) The Flying Spaghetti Monster can never be a threat to you - neither exist! And it's true with only perception.
A few notes based on your questions. IG (InfidelGuy) likely discussed Xianity more than the others for the same reason you discuss America more that other countries. You both appear to be Americans and thus try to address what's common in the US. That seems as clear as your clear persecution complex re Xianity. And what's wrong with him stating his beliefs? just like you have no right to tell me to 'move where I'm appreciated', you have no right to demand his motives. What's your motives?
Yes, many are brainwashed into Christianity and to a degree, so was I (I've grown out of it, though).
And your response is just vintage Xian - being grossly disingenuous with "friend" and "idiot", along with the completely unsubstantiated ad hom (I'd put $ on you being Xian!). Yep, when you can't respond because someone's right, resort to the ad hom attack. See, That'sMy... yet another case of Christians - or some (other?) kind of coward - attacking atheism. Pathetic. Christian. Again.
Ah, That'sMyChin... I see now. You want things to "swing in your favor" as opposed to being fair. Makes sense, as that's always the Christian mentality. Show me all the atheist politicians (as implied) at say, state or federal levels and then contrast that with the huge numbers of Xian polis. Xianity's whole major whine is 'persecution' and has been for centuries - no need to read a book or take your piddly sample of places in a single state (they're there because of *real* persecution!).
@BrettAubrey I can't believe you wasted precious characters trying to pull meaning out of a meaningless/common statement that is what it is. There's no mystery behind it, when a law is passed....it swings in someone's favor. Interesting how most legal breakthrough's for atheists run through the 9th circuit. No strategy there...as decisions "swing in your favor".
@thatsmychin What an astounding post! LOL, LOL, LOL! "Wasted precious characters"? Jesus F. Christ - listen to yourself - do you read what you write?
Ahhh.... Wait a minute. This is more of your meaningless statements, huh? Though hardly common. And now you'll whine that I'm - ROTFL - 'wasting more precious characters', eh? At least now I'm understanding that much of what you say is meaningless and not worth comment/rebuttal, but since I made a few notes, I'll at least write those down.
@thatsmychin So it's clear and I was right - you want things to "swing in your favor" as opposed to being fair. Sad. Your meaningless words trying to justify that are most transparent.
@BrettAubrey News Break! Life isn't fair. You want fair? Vote with your feet and move somewhere that your opinions are appreciated. 90-% of us should not be shut down because a handful of you are simply inconvenienced...Christians are not intolerant...atheists are intolerant of us. You can choose to ignore us. It is atheists, through the 9th circuit, that have made sure that we are muzzled so you don't have to even think about us. Let me ask...who is inconvenienced now? (hint:taxpayers)
@thatsmychin Sorry, but I'll vote however I want, but as implied before, those people who you hate in Oregon (or wherever you noted) did just that. Like you suggest to me here, they were likely ousted, shunned and hated so they "voted with their feet"... but you still whine about them, huh?
What a complete uppity bigot to tell others to pick up and move from where I live. Just disgusting. If you had the power, you'd undoubtedly ensure I was forced out. Thank Dog you don't.
@thatsmychin What a joke! You claim Xians are not intolerant and order "Vote with your feet and move somewhere that your opinions are appreciated." Just amazing!
Now please - who is shutting you down or trying to, or is this more persecution complex. Please be specific, because I've not heard of any attempts to shut Xianity down and I'm damned sure that I would have, unless it's such a tiny group hardly anyone's heard of them. Also, what atheists "muzzle you" & what "inconvenience", please?
Maybe Christianity is attacked becasue weirdos are constatly pushing it on everyone. You can be a christian in any realm. Christian doesnt= talking about it non stop to people that a) probably already heard it, and b0 probably have deeper concerns in their life then being saved from hell...like maybe eating or living. What does Following Christ add to your life that you cant otherwise do yourself? peace? joy? hope? I can have that within myslef. I beleive christians are are afraid.
@genext7 Whoa there a minute. You're saying we talk about it nonstop? Did you notice my video was in response to an atheist who posted snarky comments for the who world to see? I'm pretty sure that Christians and atheists are even steven as far as broadcasting one's opinion once you factor in the History Channel and the internet. You're lucky that you can avoid religious TV programming. I have to deal with insults on Prime Time TV.
I thought he was matter of fact. If anything, your comments appeared more snarky. For a religion that is so sure of itself and what it believes, Christians get very defensive when someone presents an alt. argument. the natural response to a threat is usually a counter attack. If God is for you who can be against you? Christ, has more angst against the so called religious, then non believers. How odd that the religious were the ones who were defensive and jesus was the matter of fact one.
AH, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! "...it seems that you can't do anything in the country if you are a Christian."! Huge LOL - Just HUGE! Try being an atheist where you can't be elected! In some places last I heard, atheists weren't even allowed to run BY LAW! You poor, poor persecuted Christain - so just what - *specifically* - can't you do, please (as referenced in your statement)?
@BrettAubrey It's true, if the populace of your town, district, state mostly votes in favor of Christian ethics, you wouldn't be a very good representative of the people would you. Welcome to the Republic! Come to Oregon where we vote in transexuals, Homosexuals that have sex with minors in their staff and lie about it, and every other flavor of misfits that most likely won't claim Christianity as their faith.
@BrettAubrey Read the book Persecution where events like praying to mecca every day in a public school is OK, or where Buddhism, Hinduism, and Wicca are being taught because they're considered philosophy, not religion...then come talk to me. When Boy Scouts can't meet in public buildings, and Christmas trees are against the law, when the nativity scene on my lawn offends the pubic.....yeah, things are totally swinging in my favor.
Well, since the majority of Americans are Christians in one form or another, it ends up being the primary religion of significance that American atheists actually have to contend with. Likewise, an atheist in Saudi Arabia would focus his/her intellectual efforts on Islam, although probably fearfully and quietly. And, yes, American atheists also argue against Islam, particularly the Wahhabist strain.
Electrical current can not be see and it exist. The air we breath can not be seen, but it exist. God is spirit and can not be seen by the human eye. You must feel the presence in order to know that God exist.
@patsaxon You know, people will argue that electricity and oxygen can be measured and observed. In reality the measurement and observation of both have only been available for maybe 100 years (maybe 150, but my premise remains the same). Ignoring that something is there due to lack of measurement and observation shows the short-sightedness of most.
@funk454 The world just didn't conform with the idea that a all knowing all loving god was there. It's no way that you could have that much power and not do anything to feed the hungry, or heal the sick. You ask why infidel guy focuses on Christianity well if I was making videos about arguments against religion I would have to focus on the one I knew.I know Christianity it was what I grew up on and was raised in.But I extend this thought to all other religions..your god is not real ANY OF IT.
@gamesmaster35 You'd think in the last 10 years atheists would bone up on their Korans. What poses a greater threat, the cross on Mt. Soledad or Islamic extremists? The crusades were centuries ago, but Islam is at your front door. That's why I question your motives. Why not be all inclusive? Why do atheists target specific passages of a specific text instead of generalizing the whole thing? Maybe Christians bug you and you're out for blood...'cause it seems that Islam isn't on your radar.
@thatsmychin In my opinion the god of the bible and the one of the Koran don't seem different at all. Many of the stories within the bible can also be found within the Koran as well so practically speaking anyway whenever a Atheist is bashing one Abrahmaic religion he could be seen as bashing them all.Honestly I take this argument just like I take the "It's out of context" argument, how much of the book do I have to read before I declare it BS?By that same token how many religions ...
@funk454 I know this may surprise you but many Atheists were theists of one stripe or another (I know shocking).I for example I was baptist and followed that religion until I was around 15 or so.I looked at the world and some of the terrible things that happen to people within it and I asked myself a simple question.. If I was a omnipotent all loving all knowing being what would I be doing about the attrocities I was witnessing. At that point I could not be a believer.
I have watched a lot of these atheist videos and i totally agree with you, they just look for any way they can to undercut the word of god, but anything can sound rediculous if you take it out of context without listening to the overall message. If the words of christ were acually quoted word for word in the propper context, you would have a very difficult time coming up with a way to say there is something wrong with them. absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.
You also are very wrong that Christians don't try to legislate anything as they have been pushing extremely hard the past few years to get Intelligent Design taught in the schools. Intelligent Design is nothing more than Christian religious belief as there is ZERO science behind it.
It's also in many state constitutions that an atheist cannot hold elected office.
If Christians were trying to help people, you wouldn't have to belittle or threaten atheists with hell, real evidence would be given, there would be plain logic, if Christians were trying to help people.
But it's not trying to help people, you are trying to sway people to your way of thinking, that's what you're doing. Clean your stuff up a little bit, make it more credible, offer some real evidence god exists, not Bible quotes, & you know what? I would have no reason to argue.
how many times have you been threatened with hell? Really? I've had JW's and Mormons at my door, 'threat' and 'hell' is not in their pitch. Al Gore preaches doomsday catastrophe and I don't feel threatened. Do you feel threatened by a TV evangelist? Are you the type that holds all of us responsible because you had a bad experience?
I'm taking this offline (right to you) since there are too many things that need to made clear.
Hundreds of times Christians in these forums have threatened me with Hell, seriously. I've been coming in here for years posting for the atheist point of view & Christians reply to me telling me that I am going to burn in Hell forever for being a disbeliever as that is what the Bible says. Of course, I find it humorous since Hell isn't any more real than Hades in Greek Mythology but Christians seem to love saying it to atheists.
What could an atheist's agenda be for going after Christianity? How about GETTING THE TRUTH OUT.
Christians don't have a shred of evidence to support the existence of their god & the religious right tries to control politics to outlaw beneficial medical science such as stem cell research that could help so very many sick & injured people.
If people weren't given the false promise of life after death by Christianity then maybe they would try harder to make this world a better place to live.
This speaks to my main premise, its not about getting the truth out, it's about attacking Christianity in order to sway Sunday School Christians to your side. If you were actually trying to speak truth, the message would not focus attacks on a specific faith
You are uninformed on stem cell research. All we want is to stop TAXPAYER FUNDED EMBRYONIC stem cell research...you'd think we'd all have known that by now. Do you're research before posting.
Stopping taxpayer funded stem cell research is the same as stopping it. Why do you think atheists want to see religion end? Because it's all a lie - there is no proof for a god or heaven and the biggest lie in the history of man is being told. That's what this whole conversation boils down to so let's just cut to the chase and we can skip all the other points and save a lot of time....
Just post your positive evidence that there is a god.
"If you were actually trying to speak truth, the message would not focus attacks on a specific faith."
I already explained to you why, must I keep repeating myself? Most atheists in the U.S. and on YouTube, including me, are former Christians. While I consider all religions that have a deity to be nonsense I don't know enough about the other religions to have an intelligent debate with their practitioners. I have studied the Bible and it is the dominant religion in the U.S.
@CaneFu If you don't know enough about other religions then you shouldn't be commenting on the subject. For all you know the Muslims have it right and we're all screwed! It's like saying my Toyota is a P.O.Crap, therefore no one should have cars since they are nothing but trouble. My Toyota did this, my Toyota did that, and it cost me a fortune. NO ONE SHOULD BUY A CAR based on my experience with a Toyota. Pretty flimsy argument.
No one on the planet, of any religion, has even a tiny shred of evidence for the existence of a god - if anyone did they would be famous and we would all be hearing about it in the news everyday as it would be the biggest find in the history of the world.
I'm not even sure what the rest of your rant is about.
8) The radio plays top 40 music - if your Christian songs didn't make the cut it's only because they sucked and the general population didn't like the song - period.
9) The one thing I find lacking in Christianity is that there is absolutely no evidence whatever - not even a shred, for the existence of a god.
10) Christianity has 33,800 different denominations - all different interpretations of the Bible and you have the nerve to accuse an atheist of throwing people into confusion.
Did you listen to what I said? Metal, Alt, (rock inferred). From San Fran to LA to San Diego to Portland...the rock stations play 30 yr old tunes with a sprinkle of 5yr old hits. Most rock is not suitable for radio, but Christian guys making awesome secular music don't get play....unless you've actually listened to it, you have no say in the matter.
9) The nitty gritty that can't be argued in 140 characters
You misunderstood my point - Christians don't get their music played if it wasn't good enough, I'm not talking about obvious Christians music - no one cares what their religion is if the music is good. Patti Labelle, Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton, Beyonce Knowles, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross and many others have voiced their Christian faith to the media and all have even recorded Gospel albums and their hit music still gets serious air play time. Metal is not dominant anymore.
10) In reality there are only 10 major Protestant denominations in th U.S. Worldwide denominations are segregated by language and local traditions...that can get messy...but I don't think there are a lot of confused Japanese Baptists when it comes to the Bible. By the way, translations are taken very seriously, it's not like the NIV is a translation of the King James Version. All Bibles are translated from original Greek, Aramaic, and Hebrew Text.
I know that Bundy was "born-again" due to James Dobson exploiting the situation for his own notoriety and that's the absurdity of your religion. Christians now believe that Ted Bundy is in Heaven, despite the fact that he raped and killed 30-50 women and girls. According to the Bible, the atrocities Bundy committed his entire adult life don't matter, he was forgiven for his sins and now lives in Paradise. Even you have to admit there's something wrong with believing that.
5) Does Christianity need to be attacked to make your point? If so, you're relying on an attack against one faith to prove all faiths are junk...proving my point that there is an agenda to squelch Christianity....not just inform.
6) Big city mayor Sam Adams here in Portland was just elected after lying about his sexual relationship with a minor....I hate to pass judgment, but I don't think he's a Christian.
7) Name 5 that fit my description...and I don't rely on ppl like Tome Selleck.
I have already given you the reasons why Christianity is attacked - do I need to keep repeating everything? Sam Adams..Do you ever watch the news? Numerous politicians are caught in improper sexual acts over the past few years and all claimed to be Christians. I think that says more about politicians than atheists or Christians.
@CaneFu 5 Christian artists. Non country artists (don't get me started on county music). I've lived in southern California, listened to LA and San Diego stations, Portland is no different. For the last 10 years they play 5,10, even 20 yr old retreads since there is nothing new. They have ignored Project 86, Stavesacre, Blindside.and many others simply because they are Christian guys doing secular music on a Christian label.
your not stupid for thinking that. I am a athiest and I believe that u should go to christian church and be proud of your faith. I think that u can still love and not believe in god. good job bald white man keep your faith stay strong and most of all be happy with your self ok. The motive is to stop scamming people man that ws his motive. peace
His motive is irrelevant as long as his points are truthful. If I told you your house was on fire and the only reason I told you was because you owed me $10 I wanted you to live so I could get my money back, the information is still useful to you as long as it's true.
If I were to make some kind of video about my thoughts on religion, I would spend most of my time talking about Christianity simply because I know a whole lot more about it than other religions. I'm guessing Infidel Guy talks mostly about Christians for the same reason.
You would defend the mystical Christian religion, no matter what it appears. You have presented no argument what-so-ever, except that you don't like the arguments that are made against your beliefs. Step outside your realm sometime and see what all has been discovered that doesn't support the existence of a god. Christianity is simply "The Greatest Story ever sold!"
and also, yes he does have an agenda einstein. he, like myself, wants people to wake up. perhaps he actually cares what happens in the world and wants it to become a better place, perhaps he wants people to awake. i know thats how i feel. so yes when we talk about these things we are trying to "sway" as you say. difference between you and us however is we are only trying to get you to search for truth. were not saying "believe what we believe" but rather, "please educate yourself and seek truth"
so belief is not really a choice. you cant choose to believe in ghosts or extraterrestrials anymore than you can a god. belief is not a switch to be turned on or off. those who honestly sought truth without fear of punishment found truth. the rest of you will live in fear and delusion. furthermore, dont try to pass off the things that have been done in gods name as merely an occasional bad apple. violence, war, hatred and murder have ALWAYS been the backbone of theist religions. even to this day
hes not attacking buddhism and hinduism because they dont tell you youre going to hell if you dont believe what they do. yes islam is just as bad but im assuming hes from usa and this is a christian country...furthermore, you said that jesus said youre "either with him or against him", do you even know what that means? what do you mean "with?" do you mean believe? belief is an involuntary conclusion made based on the input and experiences youve had so far. you either believe or dont
I'm sure it's been said before but i'll say it again. Because it is the one that we see on a day to day basis. The people we talk with and interact with. So... that answers your question.
When you start a crazy death cult, you can pretty safely say that people will not like you, so that's not a very good "prophecy."
Also, no one's criticizing Hinduism or any sort of polytheism, because those religions don't claim absolute truth, nor is anyone dying or killing in the name of those religions.
Monotheism, however, is dangerous to society, as it by nature holds there to be only one (usually male) warrior god. It says that the world is black and white, our way or the highway.
You bore me... Every one attacks Christianity because they cause the most problems and are the most prominent cult in the western world. I agree that one shouldn't attack a single belief, but people are going to be more aware of the cult that affects them the most. Islam is bad. I'm not anti semitic just because i believe murdering Palestinians is wrong. Oh and Buddhism isn't necessarily a religion...
You don't buy mud, but you believe that Adam was made from dirt? The motives are to wake people up from their slavery! I was born into a Christian home, grew up attending a Christian school, my whole life was Christianity... until I stepped out on my own, and started reading, and conversing, and self-educating. I started seeing that the Bible to me was just another form of Sun Worship.
Infidel Guy has done a number of shows looking at Islam. I don't think he has all his stuff on You Tube though. He has a website. I think an unexamined faith is a dangerous and lame one. No idea should be beyond criticism or discussion.
funk. i must disagree with christians being discriminated and christian music is now on satellite and Internet and cable music stations. and lot of pop rock songs have mentioned God. the christian right is a very powerful force in this country and with all due respect you making your self out to be a mart-er [the persecuted one] makes me think you want to sound the better person for it. If you have faith in what you believe then that will pull you through.
funk you certainly have a right to say if something offends you. You must however understand not everyone is going to believe in a supernatural being with no conclusive evidence. funk just as you want to convert those to you way of thinking. so does He's is expressing his feelings.
Funk. I believe it is important not to judge others as i should not judge you. I do believe infidel guy really believes he is making the world a better place. just as you do in your video here.weather or not you agree with what he said I believe he is benevolent such as you are.
Funk he did make refrences to other religins. in the video and the old testment was fairly acuret on how he queted it. christianity is the most popluar but he is not just targeting christianity. christions have wrote the book on persucting those who did not beleave as they do.
Funk he did make references to other religions. in the video and the old testament was fairly accurate on how he quoted it. Christianity is the most popular but he is not just targeting Christianity. christians have wrote the book on persucuting those who did not believe as they do.
Yeah I'll have to check those out. I think it's really hard for either side to accept any of the other's arguments though because we both believe so strongly in what makes sense to us. I think that whenever Christians try to use evolution in an argument, it will always be simplified, just like atheists will never give credit to the Bible as a reliable source. It's just bound to happen that way. But I'll look at them.
Also go to wmuz . com and click on the Bob Dutko link and check out the samples of his series "top ten proofs". he has one refuting evolution, another refutiong the claim that the world is billions of years old and many more.
Johnnybob, you should go to creationworldview DOT org(anization). Go to the article section and see what you think. It was created by a guy who taught evolution for 20 years, untill he found out how much evidence there is for Biblical creation.
That's a good point. It's really for me easy to blow this kind of stuff out of context. I probably have to just learn that the way I see things will never be the way most people see things and that when they try to change my mind about something, they're really just trying to help me, the same as I am to them. I never realized how it goes both ways before. Thanks for helping me out.
The idea that the DNA of monkeys is 98% similar to that of human beings is a lie my friend. It is really only about 83% similar, The DNA of a rat is 89% similar to humans so does that mean that we evolved from rats? The DNA of neanderthal man is actually more than 98% similar to humans, creation scientists have concluded that neanderthals were actually humans that simply had a longer life span.
Funk -Well, passing those laws forces every one of us to live the way Christians see fit, so even if it can't be called conversion, it's still forcing people to live like only your people want us to. And, if you don't stop trying to convert people, which I see you were careful not to deny doing, WE ARE NOT GOING TO GET ALONG! Maybe you should take a page from the non-persuasive religions' books and just accept that your stuff doesn't work for some people.
Conversion on either side will never stop. What is Infidel Guy doing by trying to disprove Christianity? Convert people to his way of thinking. Every atheist video on youtube is trying to convert people. Heck, what do commercials do? Try to convince people to use something other than what they are currently using. Everyone does it, it's quite natural, don't try to rage against it and say that we are evil in doing so.
Torrinator - I have opened my eyes, and that there is no God is what makes most sense to me. And if you want to talk about doing your own research, then I'd love to see the information you've obviously gathered proving the world isn't billions, (it's not millions, bud) of years old, and that evolution is false, especially when apes and humans are 98% genetically similar, and humans and neanderthals and other prehistoric primates even more so.
I'd hate to tell you that those scientific concepts are wrong. They are flawed!!!! There is Scientific evidence out there that proves evolution is false (the human body is far to irreducibly complex to have evolved), and that the world really isn't millions of years old. Honestly it takes more faith to belive that there is no God and to belive that everything you see around you came into existence on it's own. Open your eyes and do your own research.
And prayer in schools, anti-abortion laws, and anti-stem cell research laws are all legislation that Christians are fighting for, so that claim is obviously nonsense.
Hey Jack Ass We are against embrionic stem cell research. Embrionic stem cells have not produced any treatments at all, every time it has been tried it eventually produces tumors rendering it useless. Now we are all for Adult stem cell research because it actually produces positive results. There have been 72 different treatments created from adult stem cells. The liberal press only talks about ESCR because they want to de-value human life even more.
So you're saying that if Christians were accepted in society, they would stop trying to convert everyone else who wasn't Christian? Well I don't buy that and there's no way in hell that I'm ever gonna "get along fine" with people who only want to tell me that the ideas and concepts that I have accepted based on science are not only wrong, but will result in my eternal damnation unless I discard them and subscribe to their bullshit.
Did I say we would stop trying to spread the word, or was I talking about all of the lawsuits eradicating Christians from society? hmmm. Yeah and anti abortion, stem cell, and private prayer are going to "convert" all of you. Yeah, that sure spreads the word of Christianity.
Second, preachers aren't just telling people to be good. They're asking for money, telling people that they'll burn in Hell forever if they don't do what God wants, and trying to pass all sorts of crazy nonsensical legislation to make our entire American population into Christians, which is a violation of one of the first and most solidly held laws that this country was founded on.
I won't argue with the crazy crap you mentioned, I will call you on this: We don't try to legislate anything, we try to block ridiculous legislation that calls boy scouts a Christian organization. When you and others like you stop considering Christians as a sickness that needs to be eradicated from a society, we will all get along just fine.
First of all, if you know for a fact that God isn't real, (which we pretty much do) you kind of feel bad for all the morons like you out wasting their lives worshipping him.
Duh, what are we in 5th grade? Your inability to actually spell the word "Christ" reinforces my argument. If you want to lend credibility to an argument it is usually necessary to include all possibilities or instances of your subject. Otherwise you come off sounding like a dude with a chip on his shoulder.
Chip on my shoulder? There you go again, instead of looking at arguments and reasoning (such as The Infidel Guy puts forth) you dwell on "motives". This is a cheap obsfucation, due to the fact that IG is obviously getting under your skin. You Christians HATE it when others don't believe as you do; it brings to your minds uncomfortable doubts.
Agenda you say?? Hmm, Lets see, prayers in public schools, creationism being offered up as real science, the office of Faith-Based Initiative, Public funds to churches, ten commandments in court rooms ...geezz, I wonder who has the agenda?
He doesn't attack Islam because the muslims would put a price on his head. Furthermore, Christianity is the one TRUE belief system. If this business about Jesus being The Way, The Truth, and The Life, then they would have to submit and they do not want to do that.
It makes a lot of sense - Christianity is THE one, the devil obviously knows it and most anti-christianity is inspired and prompted by the devil. Same reason why people curse with Jesus' name and not Allah or Buddha.
I'm anti religion! I refuse to tell you why. If you took some time to read the books of all of them, you would no that they are nothing more than old law books! My countries founder tried there damndest to word it right. Just to have Islam say no tax for people carrying alcohol or a Seeing Eye dog, or in hell saying we put foot bath in but Islam has nothing to do with it all?
stop whining, the reason you only perceive that people are only attacking christianity is because that is the main religion in this country. I can debunk any organized religion, but if I am wanting to enlighten the population then debunking christianity would seem to be the logical choice in America.
Good video! I do agree with you when you say that the("there is no god") video is swaying propoganda. And I applaud you for your courage to post this too.
Here's the thing: Christians believe in God and Christ - atheists believe in themselves - their final authority, by definition is their own 'logic'!!! Talk about a perilous ledge to be on. And BTW radicainfidel - your response is really, really smart! Keep up the good work!! (sarcasm, incase you're too dumb to realize)
I don't think there's anything wrong with believing in yourself. If I needed food for my family, I would use <belief in self> and work with my mind and body to get that food. I would not use <belief in God/Jesus/Imaginary Being> and pray for that food to miraculously to appear, thank you.
And you can be sure it's due to many great people using their own <belief in self> that we all have YouTube to watch Family Guy clips on. ;)
I admit I have an agenda to destroy religion. I'm writing a book that I hope will encourage Christians, in particular, to leave the sky pixie in DROVES. :)
I believe it is Satan's plan to promote 'atheism'. Telling people that all religions are bad and evil. Countless athiest say "Where is the Proof" and "We want signs and wonders". This will make it all to easy for the antichrist to lead them astray. Because you have abandoned religion. And you are specifically looking for the 'wonders' that the antichrist will perform.
Well, if thats Satan's plan, all Jesus has to do is give people tangible proof and then Satan would fail. This video is just a rant I understand but if you watch it again, the dude kinda runs himself in circles and retorts and nullifies his own points Example: "I think Christian music is lacking" two sentences later "There is so much good Christian music..." Come on man! Structure!
Is it wrong to want the same signs and such that, say, Simon Peter had? Or Moses or Noah? THEY didn't have to just have faith -- their god came down and talked to them. ;)
Bullshit, Christian music is a vastly growing million dollar industry. I have to listen to country music at work all day and the name of God is invoked more by leading artists in the genre than most sermons you hear on sunday.
The reason he is referencing Christianity is because it has the most exposure where you, he and I live. You can basically group all of the sky gods together anyway, Muslim, Christianity and Judeism. There fundemantally all the same.
The reason that he goes after Christians more than other faiths is obvious. It is because it the predominant faith in America. If he were in a nation where another faith is dominant then he would go after that faith the same. Why debunk hinduism or Islam when no one is listening, you would only reinforce Christian beleif, which is counterproductive to what he is trying to accomplish.
2. I don't think humans need to be told to behave morally for hours weekly, or read certain books to be good. Churches give people community, which seems like a good thing at first glance. Educating people from childhood to have faith in the supernatural is not, because it clouds the developing rationality. Instinctive reflexes are life-saving, irrational thought is the opposite, as it inevitably leads to confrontation and ideology. Humanity should begin to learn from its history at some point.
1. My analogy drawn from yours was trying to point that all faith-based arguments are so shifting, baseless and elusive that any attempt at constructing a logical, conclusive point from them is bound to fail.
Not saying that atheists always argue rationally or never let logic slip for a moment. The danger of faith is that its adherents are on a mission. Using holy books lore as the basis for school education and law is a danger.
The reason THEY attacking Christian because this country is mainly Christian and the freedom of speech isn't available for most other countries. Imagine a fking guy talking there is no god in Islam, he would get fking stoned or decapitated for saying such thing. That's why you don't see people attack Islam.
Okay, dude, guess what, your people are in the majority, and also: Yeah, you cannot be a really successful Christian pop star or film actor, but you can become the President. Now which is of higher standing? And why would people vote for such a president unless they were Christian themselves?
I don't got the time to give you my opinions on religion or my beliefs, except that you're a real loser and Infidelguy has much better reasons to prove the exsistance of God than you do. What have you done to attempt to convince people?
Now you're name calling. Nice. You people run the country, the country is crumbling around you. And you have not 1 way to prove god. So you call me a loser.
I can't believe this guy is whining as if christians have it hard! You destroyed everything you've come in contact with, and your music sucks. A whole band based on a theory. You people talk about these stories as if you were there. I could make a story if I had enough time, and not many people would be able to prove me wrong. So it would still be on the table. Especially if the people were gullible and confused. Oh and swaying opinions is what religion does.
I'll tell you why people are attacking Christians and Christianity. The illuminati, 322 fanaticx (George Bush in particular), Templar Knight psychos, and, lastly, Free Mason/Blaphometh followers are conspiring to put their world order in place.
Furthermore, you ask "Why do you attempt to sway people from their religions."
It's simply for the same reasons why Jesus and Mohammed tried to sway people into their respectful religions. Was their an Islamic religion before Mohammed preached of it? All I'm saying is, Infidelguy is just as guilty as Mohammed, in the sense that he's stressing people to re-evaluate their lives regardless of religious beliefs.
I hear what you're saying, but I just had a couple of questions for you.
You asked, "What's the harm in believing in God." The answer can be simply found in religious fundamentalism. Blind faith was behind the crusades, in which war was waged for over 1000 years. It's also the backing for Osama's followers.
Although I do agree that guy sounds a little uneducated. I'd rather george carlin. And I must say that i'm proud that there are so many with my views. Stay strong people, and if the war pigs win, we at least don't have to go anywhere FOREVER to hang out when we die! And this guy is an idiot. What's wrong with believing? War, asshole. Think about it.
420???? Hmmmm Tell me, how many deaths are associated with drugs? Not just talking about use, but sales, transportation, regional control???? Dude people are killing each other over drugs daily. Don't be pointing your finger at religion.
I'm not doing drugs, so don't judge me. I would'nt touch an actual drug, it's a waste of time. And if a plant that happens to change your mood is deemed evil because it could lower the sales of wood-made paper and cloth made by big corporations(or possibly get people thinking), then that's not proof that i'm doing anything wrong.
And I hate drugs like coke, crack, heroin and all of them that we made. The way I think is be good to people, and if you don't get it in return, then you just found out who they are. Everything about our past and all our beliefs is destroying us. We need to change soon. I'm just asking that we open up try something different. Something that has a chance of working. Where if the people are in control, we can see where we're going wrong. No one to blame but ourselves. But you people are to weak.
A million different religions, all made up by mankind, all thinking that they're right. Who is right? You know as much about god as I do, nothing. In god we hope. And you say "what's wrong with going to church", well what's wrong with sharing your opinion with other open minded people? Free speech. Free thought. Christians think they're right, along with every other religion. You all are so twisted and scared of dying, it's sad.
infedel guy tackles christianity because it is mainly a western religion so he sticks to what he knows. But any smart person out there knows that he talks openly against any deiety worship, using (blergh!) christianity as an example. Believe in yourselves and not some childish, emotionally dependent, non-existent bunghole. seeing is believing.
If there was a legitimate split from church and state no one would care what anyone else believed..But..as it is we have to live in a world where people are basing our political decisions on a magical fairy tale where we are on the brink of the apocalypse battling an opposing fairy tale..and the president of our country is a fundamentalist Christian with control over nuclear weapons.
Man you tell him way to stick up for christianity!!! Your awsome your my hero! Once i get a camera i will send him a video response! Keep up the fight i will join it when i can for now i can only send him comments!
and they are the religion with the following and money to potentially do it. That is why Christians are focused on. Atheists disagree with other religions too but they aren't a direct threat to everyones rights like the Christian groups.

BrettAubrey 10 months ago
Oh, and BTW, your arbitrary definition of Christianity is of course, ludicrous. You claim what is *actually* the definition of 'Christian' when there's ~22,000 sects of Xianity with different ideas, but you with your apparent God-complex *knows*! Ha!
Also, perhaps others think your music tastes just suck, but since you don't reference (yet again!) any specific music, you have zero credibility with this - that's not enough to me convincing.
Finally... sorry, how's "dirt-men"? Better? Good.
BrettAubrey 10 months ago
You complain about IG and a lack of references (though I don't recall you mentioning specifics of what he said to make you complain), then you go on to do the same thing. What belittling, please? What 'making fun of'? And what did you consider 'snarky'? Where are *your* references, please?
Also, your 'Jesus' can be no threat at all - just like (I assume, but correct me if needed) The Flying Spaghetti Monster can never be a threat to you - neither exist! And it's true with only perception.
BrettAubrey 10 months ago
A few notes based on your questions. IG (InfidelGuy) likely discussed Xianity more than the others for the same reason you discuss America more that other countries. You both appear to be Americans and thus try to address what's common in the US. That seems as clear as your clear persecution complex re Xianity. And what's wrong with him stating his beliefs? just like you have no right to tell me to 'move where I'm appreciated', you have no right to demand his motives. What's your motives?
BrettAubrey 10 months ago
Yes, many are brainwashed into Christianity and to a degree, so was I (I've grown out of it, though).
And your response is just vintage Xian - being grossly disingenuous with "friend" and "idiot", along with the completely unsubstantiated ad hom (I'd put $ on you being Xian!). Yep, when you can't respond because someone's right, resort to the ad hom attack. See, That'sMy... yet another case of Christians - or some (other?) kind of coward - attacking atheism. Pathetic. Christian. Again.
BrettAubrey 11 months ago
you my friend are a brainwashed idiot
srt6caravan 11 months ago
Ah, That'sMyChin... I see now. You want things to "swing in your favor" as opposed to being fair. Makes sense, as that's always the Christian mentality. Show me all the atheist politicians (as implied) at say, state or federal levels and then contrast that with the huge numbers of Xian polis. Xianity's whole major whine is 'persecution' and has been for centuries - no need to read a book or take your piddly sample of places in a single state (they're there because of *real* persecution!).
BrettAubrey 11 months ago
@BrettAubrey I can't believe you wasted precious characters trying to pull meaning out of a meaningless/common statement that is what it is. There's no mystery behind it, when a law is passed....it swings in someone's favor. Interesting how most legal breakthrough's for atheists run through the 9th circuit. No strategy there...as decisions "swing in your favor".
thatsmychin 11 months ago
@thatsmychin What an astounding post! LOL, LOL, LOL! "Wasted precious characters"? Jesus F. Christ - listen to yourself - do you read what you write?
Ahhh.... Wait a minute. This is more of your meaningless statements, huh? Though hardly common. And now you'll whine that I'm - ROTFL - 'wasting more precious characters', eh? At least now I'm understanding that much of what you say is meaningless and not worth comment/rebuttal, but since I made a few notes, I'll at least write those down.
BrettAubrey 10 months ago
@thatsmychin So it's clear and I was right - you want things to "swing in your favor" as opposed to being fair. Sad. Your meaningless words trying to justify that are most transparent.
BrettAubrey 10 months ago
@BrettAubrey News Break! Life isn't fair. You want fair? Vote with your feet and move somewhere that your opinions are appreciated. 90-% of us should not be shut down because a handful of you are simply inconvenienced...Christians are not intolerant...atheists are intolerant of us. You can choose to ignore us. It is atheists, through the 9th circuit, that have made sure that we are muzzled so you don't have to even think about us. Let me ask...who is inconvenienced now? (hint:taxpayers)
thatsmychin 11 months ago
@thatsmychin Sorry, but I'll vote however I want, but as implied before, those people who you hate in Oregon (or wherever you noted) did just that. Like you suggest to me here, they were likely ousted, shunned and hated so they "voted with their feet"... but you still whine about them, huh?
What a complete uppity bigot to tell others to pick up and move from where I live. Just disgusting. If you had the power, you'd undoubtedly ensure I was forced out. Thank Dog you don't.
BrettAubrey 10 months ago
@thatsmychin What a joke! You claim Xians are not intolerant and order "Vote with your feet and move somewhere that your opinions are appreciated." Just amazing!
Now please - who is shutting you down or trying to, or is this more persecution complex. Please be specific, because I've not heard of any attempts to shut Xianity down and I'm damned sure that I would have, unless it's such a tiny group hardly anyone's heard of them. Also, what atheists "muzzle you" & what "inconvenience", please?
BrettAubrey 10 months ago
Maybe Christianity is attacked becasue weirdos are constatly pushing it on everyone. You can be a christian in any realm. Christian doesnt= talking about it non stop to people that a) probably already heard it, and b0 probably have deeper concerns in their life then being saved from hell...like maybe eating or living. What does Following Christ add to your life that you cant otherwise do yourself? peace? joy? hope? I can have that within myslef. I beleive christians are are afraid.
genext7 11 months ago
@genext7 Whoa there a minute. You're saying we talk about it nonstop? Did you notice my video was in response to an atheist who posted snarky comments for the who world to see? I'm pretty sure that Christians and atheists are even steven as far as broadcasting one's opinion once you factor in the History Channel and the internet. You're lucky that you can avoid religious TV programming. I have to deal with insults on Prime Time TV.
thatsmychin 11 months ago
I thought he was matter of fact. If anything, your comments appeared more snarky. For a religion that is so sure of itself and what it believes, Christians get very defensive when someone presents an alt. argument. the natural response to a threat is usually a counter attack. If God is for you who can be against you? Christ, has more angst against the so called religious, then non believers. How odd that the religious were the ones who were defensive and jesus was the matter of fact one.
genext7 11 months ago
AH, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! "...it seems that you can't do anything in the country if you are a Christian."! Huge LOL - Just HUGE! Try being an atheist where you can't be elected! In some places last I heard, atheists weren't even allowed to run BY LAW! You poor, poor persecuted Christain - so just what - *specifically* - can't you do, please (as referenced in your statement)?
BrettAubrey 11 months ago
@BrettAubrey It's true, if the populace of your town, district, state mostly votes in favor of Christian ethics, you wouldn't be a very good representative of the people would you. Welcome to the Republic! Come to Oregon where we vote in transexuals, Homosexuals that have sex with minors in their staff and lie about it, and every other flavor of misfits that most likely won't claim Christianity as their faith.
thatsmychin 11 months ago
@BrettAubrey Read the book Persecution where events like praying to mecca every day in a public school is OK, or where Buddhism, Hinduism, and Wicca are being taught because they're considered philosophy, not religion...then come talk to me. When Boy Scouts can't meet in public buildings, and Christmas trees are against the law, when the nativity scene on my lawn offends the pubic.....yeah, things are totally swinging in my favor.
thatsmychin 11 months ago
Well, since the majority of Americans are Christians in one form or another, it ends up being the primary religion of significance that American atheists actually have to contend with. Likewise, an atheist in Saudi Arabia would focus his/her intellectual efforts on Islam, although probably fearfully and quietly. And, yes, American atheists also argue against Islam, particularly the Wahhabist strain.
Kropotkin26 11 months ago
Electrical current can not be see and it exist. The air we breath can not be seen, but it exist. God is spirit and can not be seen by the human eye. You must feel the presence in order to know that God exist.
patsaxon 1 year ago
@patsaxon You know, people will argue that electricity and oxygen can be measured and observed. In reality the measurement and observation of both have only been available for maybe 100 years (maybe 150, but my premise remains the same). Ignoring that something is there due to lack of measurement and observation shows the short-sightedness of most.

@funk454 The world just didn't conform with the idea that a all knowing all loving god was there. It's no way that you could have that much power and not do anything to feed the hungry, or heal the sick. You ask why infidel guy focuses on Christianity well if I was making videos about arguments against religion I would have to focus on the one I knew.I know Christianity it was what I grew up on and was raised in.But I extend this thought to all other religions..your god is not real ANY OF IT.
gamesmaster35 1 year ago
@gamesmaster35 You'd think in the last 10 years atheists would bone up on their Korans. What poses a greater threat, the cross on Mt. Soledad or Islamic extremists? The crusades were centuries ago, but Islam is at your front door. That's why I question your motives. Why not be all inclusive? Why do atheists target specific passages of a specific text instead of generalizing the whole thing? Maybe Christians bug you and you're out for blood...'cause it seems that Islam isn't on your radar.
thatsmychin 1 year ago
@thatsmychin In my opinion the god of the bible and the one of the Koran don't seem different at all. Many of the stories within the bible can also be found within the Koran as well so practically speaking anyway whenever a Atheist is bashing one Abrahmaic religion he could be seen as bashing them all.Honestly I take this argument just like I take the "It's out of context" argument, how much of the book do I have to read before I declare it BS?By that same token how many religions ...
gamesmaster35 1 year ago
@thatsmychin must I study before I declare them all just as nonsensical.
gamesmaster35 1 year ago
@funk454 I know this may surprise you but many Atheists were theists of one stripe or another (I know shocking).I for example I was baptist and followed that religion until I was around 15 or so.I looked at the world and some of the terrible things that happen to people within it and I asked myself a simple question.. If I was a omnipotent all loving all knowing being what would I be doing about the attrocities I was witnessing. At that point I could not be a believer.
gamesmaster35 1 year ago
I have watched a lot of these atheist videos and i totally agree with you, they just look for any way they can to undercut the word of god, but anything can sound rediculous if you take it out of context without listening to the overall message. If the words of christ were acually quoted word for word in the propper context, you would have a very difficult time coming up with a way to say there is something wrong with them. absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.
meattastic1 1 year ago
You also are very wrong that Christians don't try to legislate anything as they have been pushing extremely hard the past few years to get Intelligent Design taught in the schools. Intelligent Design is nothing more than Christian religious belief as there is ZERO science behind it.
It's also in many state constitutions that an atheist cannot hold elected office.
CaneFu 1 year ago
If Christians were trying to help people, you wouldn't have to belittle or threaten atheists with hell, real evidence would be given, there would be plain logic, if Christians were trying to help people.
But it's not trying to help people, you are trying to sway people to your way of thinking, that's what you're doing. Clean your stuff up a little bit, make it more credible, offer some real evidence god exists, not Bible quotes, & you know what? I would have no reason to argue.
Think about it.

how many times have you been threatened with hell?

@thatsmychin
No, I am only interested in keeping this online for everyone to see.
CaneFu 1 year ago
@thatsmychin
"how many time have you been threatened to hell?"
CaneFu 1 year ago
What could an atheist's agenda be for going after Christianity? How about GETTING THE TRUTH OUT.
Christians don't have a shred of evidence to support the existence of their god & the religious right tries to control politics to outlaw beneficial medical science such as stem cell research that could help so very many sick & injured people.
If people weren't given the false promise of life after death by Christianity then maybe they would try harder to make this world a better place to live.
CaneFu 1 year ago
@CaneFu
Do you're research before posting.
thatsmychin 1 year ago
@thatsmychin
CaneFu 1 year ago
@thatsmychin
CaneFu 1 year ago
@CaneFu If you don't know enough about other religions then you shouldn't be commenting on the subject. For all you know the Muslims have it right and we're all screwed! It's like saying my Toyota is a P.O.Crap, therefore no one should have cars since they are nothing but trouble. My Toyota did this, my Toyota did that, and it cost me a fortune. NO ONE SHOULD BUY A CAR based on my experience with a Toyota. Pretty flimsy argument.
thatsmychin 1 year ago
@thatsmychin
No one on the planet, of any religion, has even a tiny shred of evidence for the existence of a god - if anyone did they would be famous and we would all be hearing about it in the news everyday as it would be the biggest find in the history of the world.
I'm not even sure what the rest of your rant is about.
CaneFu 1 year ago
8) The radio plays top 40 music - if your Christian songs didn't make the cut it's only because they sucked and the general population didn't like the song - period.
9) The one thing I find lacking in Christianity is that there is absolutely no evidence whatever - not even a shred, for the existence of a god.
10) Christianity has 33,800 different denominations - all different interpretations of the Bible and you have the nerve to accuse an atheist of throwing people into confusion.
CaneFu 1 year ago
@CaneFu
9) The nitty gritty that can't be argued in 140 characters
thatsmychin 1 year ago
@thatsmychin
CaneFu 1 year ago
@CaneFu
All Bibles are translated from original Greek, Aramaic, and Hebrew Text.
thatsmychin 1 year ago
@thatsmychin
Do you subscribe to literal translation of the Bible - Genesis, Noah's Ark, etc?

1) You're not going to argue specifics because you would lose
2) Christianity is attacked because it is the predominant religion in the U.S. and the only one influencing politics
3) On the contrary Christians control many of our laws, you have TOO much influence
4) Ted Bundy was a born-again Christian - good company!
5) Most of us are former Christians and don't know enough about Islam to attack it
6) You can't be an atheist and be elected to public office
7) MANY top entertainers are Christian
CaneFu 1 year ago
@CaneFu
1) Specifics would be fun to argue...but I clearly tied it to the arguments made in the 3 videos I was referred too.
2) It may be predominant, but in a post 9/11 US, Islam is making quite the stir in case you haven't noticed (hello homeland security).
3)We had influence up until the 50's. Where have you been? All political moves in the last 50 years have been toward the atheist agenda.
4) Bundy was born again after imprisonment due to visits by James Dobson....look it up.
thatsmychin 1 year ago
@thatsmychin
CaneFu 1 year ago
@CaneFu
7) Name 5 that fit my description...and I don't rely on ppl like Tome Selleck.
thatsmychin 1 year ago
@thatsmychin

Name 5 what???
CaneFu 1 year ago
@CaneFu 5 Christian artists. Non country artists (don't get me started on county music). I've lived in southern California, listened to LA and San Diego stations, Portland is no different. For the last 10 years they play 5,10, even 20 yr old retreads since there is nothing new. They have ignored Project 86, Stavesacre, Blindside.and many others simply because they are Christian guys doing secular music on a Christian label.

TheMidnightWay 3 years ago
so belief is not really a choice. you cant choose to believe in ghosts or extraterrestrials anymore than you can a god. belief is not a switch to be turned on or off. those who honestly sought truth without fear of punishment found truth. the rest of you will live in fear and delusion. furthermore, dont try to pass off the things that have been done in gods name as merely an occasional bad apple. violence, war, hatred and murder have ALWAYS been the backbone of theist religions. even to this day
TheMidnightWay 3 years ago
hes not attacking buddhism and hinduism because they dont tell you youre going to hell if you dont believe what they do. yes islam is just as bad but im assuming hes from usa and this is a christian country...furthermore, you said that jesus said youre "either with him or against him", do you even know what that means? what do you mean "with?" do you mean believe? belief is an involuntary conclusion made based on the input and experiences youve had so far. you either believe or dont

I'm sure it's been said before but i'll say it again. Because it is the one that we see on a day to day basis. The people we talk with and interact with. So... that answers your question.
godsentyes 3 years ago
When you start a crazy death cult, you can pretty safely say that people will not like you, so that's not a very good "prophecy."
Also, no one's criticizing Hinduism or any sort of polytheism, because those religions don't claim absolute truth, nor is anyone dying or killing in the name of those religions.
Monotheism, however, is dangerous to society, as it by nature holds there to be only one (usually male) warrior god. It says that the world is black and white, our way or the highway.
RolfLarsson 3 years ago
You bore me... Every one attacks Christianity because they cause the most problems and are the most prominent cult in the western world. I agree that one shouldn't attack a single belief, but people are going to be more aware of the cult that affects them the most. Islam is bad. I'm not anti semitic just because i believe murdering Palestinians is wrong. Oh and Buddhism isn't necessarily a religion...
BTTHEBAND 4 years ago
Buddhism isn't a religion. Chinese buddhism, Lamaism, those are religions, but not true Buddhism.

If you have faith in what you believe then that will pull you through.
carrychris2005 4 years ago
funk you certainly have a right to say if something offends you. You must however understand not everyone is going to believe in a supernatural being with no conclusive evidence. funk just as you want to convert those to you way of thinking. so does He's is expressing his feelings.
carrychris2005 4 years ago
Funk. I believe it is important not to judge others as i should not judge you. I do believe infidel guy really believes he is making the world a better place. just as you do in your video here.weather or not you agree with what he said I believe he is benevolent such as you are.
carrychris2005 4 years ago
Funk he did make refrences to other religins. in the video and the old testment was fairly acuret on how he queted it. christianity is the most popluar but he is not just targeting christianity. christions have wrote the book on persucting those who did not beleave as they do.

But I'll look at them.
johnnybob79 4 years ago
Also go to wmuz . com and click on the Bob Dutko link and check out the samples of his series "top ten proofs". he has one refuting evolution, another refutiong the claim that the world is billions of years old and many more.
torrinater 4 years ago
Johnnybob, you should go to creationworldview DOT org(anization). Go to the article section and see what you think. It was created by a guy who taught evolution for 20 years, untill he found out how much evidence there is for Biblical creation.
torrinater 4 years ago
That's a good point. It's really for me easy to blow this kind of stuff out of context. I probably have to just learn that the way I see things will never be the way most people see things and that when they try to change my mind about something, they're really just trying to help me, the same as I am to them. I never realized how it goes both ways before. Thanks for helping me out.
johnnybob79 4 years ago
The idea that the DNA of monkeys is 98% similar to that of human beings is a lie my friend. It is really only about 83% similar, The DNA of a rat is 89% similar to humans so does that mean that we evolved from rats? The DNA of neanderthal man is actually more than 98% similar to humans, creation scientists have concluded that neanderthals were actually humans that simply had a longer life span.
torrinater 4 years ago
Funk -Well, passing those laws forces every one of us to live the way Christians see fit, so even if it can't be called conversion, it's still forcing people to live like only your people want us to. And, if you don't stop trying to convert people, which I see you were careful not to deny doing, WE ARE NOT GOING TO GET ALONG! Maybe you should take a page from the non-persuasive religions' books and just accept that your stuff doesn't work for some people.
johnnybob79 4 years ago
Conversion on either side will never stop. What is Infidel Guy doing by trying to disprove Christianity? Convert people to his way of thinking. Every atheist video on youtube is trying to convert people. Heck, what do commercials do? Try to convince people to use something other than what they are currently using. Everyone does it, it's quite natural, don't try to rage against it and say that we are evil in doing so.
funk454 4 years ago
Torrinator - I have opened my eyes, and that there is no God is what makes most sense to me. And if you want to talk about doing your own research, then I'd love to see the information you've obviously gathered proving the world isn't billions, (it's not millions, bud) of years old, and that evolution is false, especially when apes and humans are 98% genetically similar, and humans and neanderthals and other prehistoric primates even more so.
johnnybob79 4 years ago
I'd hate to tell you that those scientific concepts are wrong. They are flawed!!!! There is Scientific evidence out there that proves evolution is false (the human body is far to irreducibly complex to have evolved), and that the world really isn't millions of years old. Honestly it takes more faith to belive that there is no God and to belive that everything you see around you came into existence on it's own. Open your eyes and do your own research.
torrinater 4 years ago
And prayer in schools, anti-abortion laws, and anti-stem cell research laws are all legislation that Christians are fighting for, so that claim is obviously nonsense.
johnnybob79 4 years ago
Hey Jack Ass We are against embrionic stem cell research. Embrionic stem cells have not produced any treatments at all, every time it has been tried it eventually produces tumors rendering it useless. Now we are all for Adult stem cell research because it actually produces positive results. There have been 72 different treatments created from adult stem cells. The liberal press only talks about ESCR because they want to de-value human life even more.
torrinater 4 years ago
So you're saying that if Christians were accepted in society, they would stop trying to convert everyone else who wasn't Christian? Well I don't buy that and there's no way in hell that I'm ever gonna "get along fine" with people who only want to tell me that the ideas and concepts that I have accepted based on science are not only wrong, but will result in my eternal damnation unless I discard them and subscribe to their bullshit.
johnnybob79 4 years ago
Did I say we would stop trying to spread the word, or was I talking about all of the lawsuits eradicating Christians from society? hmmm. Yeah and anti abortion, stem cell, and private prayer are going to "convert" all of you. Yeah, that sure spreads the word of Christianity.
funk454 4 years ago
Second, preachers aren't just telling people to be good. They're asking for money, telling people that they'll burn in Hell forever if they don't do what God wants, and trying to pass all sorts of crazy nonsensical legislation to make our entire American population into Christians, which is a violation of one of the first and most solidly held laws that this country was founded on.
johnnybob79 4 years ago
I won't argue with the crazy crap you mentioned, I will call you on this: We don't try to legislate anything, we try to block ridiculous legislation that calls boy scouts a Christian organization. When you and others like you stop considering Christians as a sickness that needs to be eradicated from a society, we will all get along just fine.

Duh, what are we in 5th grade? Your inability to actually spell the word "Christ" reinforces my argument. Otherwise you come off sounding like a dude with a chip on his shoulder.
funk454 4 years ago
Chip on my shoulder? There you go again, instead of looking at arguments and reasoning (such as The Infidel Guy puts forth) you dwell on "motives". stop whining, the reason you only perceive that people are only attacking christianity is because that is the main religion in this country. I don't think there's anything wrong with believing in yourself. If I needed food for my family, I would use <belief in self> and work with my mind and body to get that food. I would not use <belief in God/Jesus/Imaginary Being> and pray for that food to miraculously to appear, thank you.
And you can be sure it's due to many great people using their own <belief in self> that we all have YouTube to watch Family Guy clips on. ;)

I believe it is Satan's plan to promote 'atheism'. Telling people that all religions are bad and evil. Countless athiest say "Where is the Proof" and "We want signs and wonders". This will make it all to easy for the antichrist to lead them astray. Because you have abandoned religion. And you are specifically looking for the 'wonders' that the antichrist will perform.
welchesschokoladen 4 years ago
Well, if thats Satan's plan, all Jesus has to do is give people tangible proof and then Satan would fail. This video is just a rant I understand but if you watch it again, the dude kinda runs himself in circles and retorts and nullifies his own points Example: "I think Christian music is lacking" two sentences later "There is so much good Christian music..." Come on man! Structure!

There fundemantally all the same.
madmikeyking 4 years ago

The reason why he and most of the people that do pinpoint christianty is because it is the only relegion that is worthy of persecution.
kazokazo68 4 years ago
The reason that he goes after Christians more than other faiths is obvious. It is because it the predominant faith in America. If he were in a nation where another faith is dominant then he would go after that faith the same. Why debunk hinduism or Islam when no one is listening, you would only reinforce Christian beleif, which is counterproductive to what he is trying to accomplish.
vodking 4 years ago

Using holy books lore as the basis for school education and law is a danger.
blackwolf1272 5 years ago

Especially if the people were gullible and confused. Oh and swaying opinions is what religion does.
sepultura420 5 years ago
I'll tell you why people are attacking Christians and Christianity. The illuminati, 322 fanaticx (George Bush in particular), Templar Knight psychos, and, lastly, Free Mason/Blaphometh followers are conspiring to put their world order in place.
kbit18 5 years ago
Furthermore, you ask "Why do you attempt to sway people from their religions."
It's simply for the same reasons why Jesus and Mohammed tried to sway people into their respectful religions. Was their an Islamic religion before Mohammed preached of it? All I'm saying is, Infidelguy is just as guilty as Mohammed, in the sense that he's stressing people to re-evaluate their lives regardless of religious beliefs.
crayzeesheep 5 years ago
I hear what you're saying, but I just had a couple of questions for you.
You asked, "What's the harm in believing in God." The answer can be simply found in religious fundamentalism. Blind faith was behind the crusades, in which war was waged for over 1000 years. It's also the backing for Osama's followers.
crayzeesheep 5 years ago
Although I do agree that guy sounds a little uneducated. I'd rather george carlin. And I must say that i'm proud that there are so many with my views. I'm not doing drugs, so don't judge me. I would'nt touch an actual drug, it's a waste of time. sepultura420 5 years ago
But you people are to weak.
sepultura420 5 years ago

And you say "what's wrong with going to church", well what's wrong with sharing your opinion with other open minded people? Free speech. Free thought. Christians think they're right, along with every other religion. You all are so twisted and scared of dying, it's sad.
