Dunno if it's only Firefox but in taskmanager i often find out it runs more plugin containers than it should (1 only!). This may cause some glitches, slowdowns. Best to force shut those containers that use less memory / cpu as they are just parking there.
what codec/editing package are you using? If your using wmv that could cause it to break as youtube has a hard time with wmv. I use DivX though it is a bit of a pain in the ass to get working (stopping 4:3 being letter boxed to 16:9 in Sony Vegas is a pain) but nice small vids with fast compression. xvid is the opensource alternative and whilst it can be slower then divx but it's easier to control the annoying letter boxing.
@RODALCO2007 The beeping of my mains conditioner starting up tripped a content match. Challenged it, match removed and subsequent videos haven't had the problem. I was surprised to see a 130 year old Tchaikovsky track match for copyright though.
I hate these new you tube ads. you have to endure about 10 seconds before you can skip the dam thing and watch the video that I wanted to watch. Its a shame that youtube is doing this.
I've been having problems with uploading too. My DDR3 layout video failed 5 times, each using different codecs/settings. Really annoying when the 6GB upload takes 24 hours! I finally broke down and broke the video into two sections, which worked. Then about a week later, one of the failed ones finally started working.
I wonder what would happen if you had background music that is in public domain, like Stephen Foster songs or Beethoven? In all seriousness the main problem is the RIAA and the MPAA, they haven't changed their business model in decades and rather then changing their ways they whine to the government to legislate the rest of the world go backwards to accomodate them.

As for your video issues, have you considered precompressing your videos in x264? (Open source HD 264 codec)
Of course it will take some rendering time, but you can bump down the filesize drastically, thats what I used for my videos and they worked fine with the Audio as well. Only the recorded stuff off my TV Tuner fails with the audio lagging more and more behind, but that is retired now.
google doesnt care, that flag is a first strike on your account even if it was false, two more and they will block the account. Thats how "great" google is.

Well, you can revert back to the old youtube interface ( for your channel/videos & playlists etc ) if you hate the new one ( like me ), but now there is a message saying all channels will be switched to the new design from march 7th = lame. It isn't the style that's the issue for me, it's the fact you can't see your own channel comments any more & your channel info is basically a mess- nice concept but poorly implemented.

I had the same with third party content match for a ticking clock , which is my own.
I challenged it and the content match was removed.
Today I had one on my MOT burn outs, no music whatsoever just 50 Hz main hum. WTH !
will challenge that one too. YT has some internal problems to sort out.
Then I use the YT editor, just upload the raw MT2S files and edit at YT. I make them all in blocks of less then 1 minute.

I wouldn't blame the Americans for this exclusively, it's the RIAA and the MPAA, neither one of those outfits represents the average American and British companies are almost as bad. They need to bring back fair usage and put a firm sunset on copyrights, (it used to be 75 years no ifs, ands, or buts) especially if the original creator is dead. If you can hold a copyright forever and make money off off old content indefinately then where is the incentive to produce new material.

Actually yes, look up the British East India Company, the Hudson's Bay Company, not to mention the activities of Cecil Rhodes in Africa. With regards to copyrights most Western countries adopted the terms of what was called the Berne convention around the turn of the last century to respect copyrights issued in the other countries that signed the Berne convention, what the U.S seems to keep forgetting is that not everyone signed onto it.

Under the Berne convention it's up to the copyright holder to persue legal action under the court system of whatever country the violator resides. Of course in China there is no intelectual property rights because it's a communist country, everyone conveniently forgets that and then whines when Chinese bootleggers rip something off.

@Aussie50 hey mazdas F2 engine and F2T are one extreamly tough little engine and pack a punch for what they are id swear by them i just bought a kia mentor 1997 for 500 while just feels " cheap " over all it isnt a bad little thing to drive a/c is good gear ratio is to dam short but coming from a auto with no A/C ( telstar :) ) i think i can live with the lack of power !

@Aussie50 KIA was owned by FORD back in the 80's-early 2000's before hyundai bouth them out , KIA made Mazda &ford vehicles , FORD owns MAZDA outright , thats a FORD aspire/festiva, it was a KIA/FORD "expire" if you crashed in it :P ,its called the KIA "avella" back in korea ,KIA was a "screwdriver" for FORD/MAZDA back then ,now HYUNDAI works with them
