@czarcio333 No, you can't because you need a refrigerator that can cool something like carbon dioxide down to -110F. Ordinary refrigerators can't go that low.

@LilRasse You can't order dry ice from ebay because by the time they ship it to you, it will evaporate. If you don't know what that means, research dry ice on wikipedia and other sources.

I made Root Beer with dry ice OOOH what a ride if you swallow even a pebble size of dry ice it hurts like hell but it's gone now. Your supposed to filter the Root Beer but I didnt do it as well as I was supposed to.

@SweetTheMan Well technically you're right, the air you exhale does contain carbon dioxide, however, it's mostly nitrogen with some left-over oxygen and a tiny bit of CO2. The other balloon, however, is all CO2.

I didn't have to ask. There's a huge freezer with a sign that says "Dry Ice" and it's right by the front door. I saw it one day while shopping for groceries.  I figured it would be fun to get some dry ice and play around with it, so I did. You have to be over 18 to buy it because it's very easy to get hurt with dry ice. Definitely not for kids.

Grocery stores also sell regular ice but regular ice can't keep something frozen solid, like dry ice can. If you're going camping and you want to keep meat or ice cream solid for hours, you need dry ice.
