Don't think Creative Assembly has any plans for a game like this. Doing so isn't really their thing... RTS is more of their thing if you know what i mean. Take Kalypso for example. They're famous for Tropico series. They made a 3rd person and 1st person games. Sucked as shit about some templar or something (an Assassin's Creed rip off).
Plus... there are other good titles out there where you can fight 1st person or third person. So why bother? But who am i to crush your hopes eh?

@pitychee First of all, if your going to insult a guys work this good, you might want to use correct English. Second of all, it's just for a cinematic effect. I'd like to see you do something that impressive.

the biggest problem with the total war games, is that when a battalion charges into a battalion, they actually fight. its not 2 big blocks of enemies fighting eachother and there is one small line in between them where all the fighting happens. war was not faught like that, it was more like a large pit of fighting. the only group of fighters that used that type of warfare were the romans. they used line formations to hold the enemies back.
I think this one was really cool, good work. I even picked up some dialogue I've never heard before. And to all those of you who ask if CA can make such a game, they've implemented a first person camera into ETW. There you can see through the eyes of your line infantry or such. My compliments for this video again. Another great production.

lol thats practically mount and blade, but the problem is mount and blade has too few troops on field, and TW has too many, and one has first person, other is just camera view, over all, the games are the exact opposite
the sword and shield we're only pasted against the screen, he couldn't kill anybody with it and it would take a lot of work to synchronise your slashes with the deaths of their guys, can't imagine how hard it would be to make one of these for cavalry!

I think this one was really cool, good work. I even picked up some dialogue I've never heard before.
