@macejko56 im guessing you dont realize that one of the guitarists has a degree in classical music? (he arranged the symphonics etc...) another ungrounded opinion... i rarely comment but this caught my attention. Technicality isnt everything, and this song (and the majority of death metal) arnt just song you can bang out in 20 or so minutes if you want them to sound any good, these guys are pretty damn tight which is a skill in its self.

I met them last year in Germany and let them sign all my stuff (all CD's/The Eldest Cosmonaut VHS/Mystic Places of dawn Picture LP/ Temple of the lost Race LP) and meanwhile I own the Fan Edition of The Great Mass incl. the Artbook. They where very impressed and gave me a Poster and a tour shirt for free :) I hope to see them again. It took me 14 years to see them 3 times (first time must have been 1998)

I want to tell ya'll a story of when I was them live. In the middle of the s/t song Communion, in that "stop", I look at the the stage. I saw Seth, bathed in a red glow and a bright light behind him. His hair was draped at the sides of his face, which, as I saw it, was nothing but a shadow; a empty, nebulous void. That's it. I couldn't see his eyes, nose, anything. It was a sight I will never forget.

I love this band, their recorded material is FLAWLESS. Yet, the thing that gets me, is they try to be too showy and have a lot of stalling in their songs. When I saw them in Seattle with Children of Bodom, they were all dressed up, at least Spiros was, and they tried getting the crowd all hyped up and into it by taking at least a good minute out of each song just to do a "hey" chant. Regardless,, their music is amazing, and I respect them for their work and Chaostar.

@DemonicKroniKPB I personally think that they could have opened with Persepolis, followed it with Therianthropy, and then continued with all of their older material, stuff from Mystic Places of Dawn would have been great to hear because it's a lot heavier, faster, and the more brutal side of Septic Flesh. Their new music is all about telling a significant story or being laid back, heavy, and a form of relaxing in sorts.
