Barbra Eden was a cutie, but this song was written much later by Suzanne Vega. The I dream of Jeanie theme was just instrumental, but it does sound similar in a way, I suppose.

You inspired me my friend, thanks for posting it. You're right, I did cheat, it was only sort of acapella. Man, the sound is terrible, overdriven too much. I should have checked before uploading.

Nope, I just checked the original file, and the sound is clean, so it must be in YouTube's compression. Darn. I don't know why it messed on this one and not others.
