Terrible series! Who can top Jack Lord? and the old team? They are just trying to appeal to the new generation of brainless idiots who never saw the classic series. All they had to do is do a "next generation" show where the old team is now retired and passes the baton to the new team. The new team should have had new names. That way, they would have been able to win the sixties generation (mine) over to it. Bad idea. Won't watch it. Get off the air.

I wonder if Chevrolet will continue sponsorship in year two? They sure use alot of Chevrolets in the series. the season finale sure was compelling. CBS and all involved in the production should be commended. With all the crap on TV today, this series soars above the rest. Comparing this to the original serves no purpose. It stands on it's own. I'll always love the Jack Lord vehicle and still watch it on DVD but I look forward to these new stories. Thank you CBS, take me away Calgon!

The show is great, the trailer is cool, but could we stop calling the newness and officiality and trailerdom into question with completely needless apostrophes? Does "new" mean it's actually new, or could be old? Does "official trailer" mean it's not official or not a trailer, or are we uncertain about both facts? Again, love the show and love the trailer, but the punctuation is just strange.

The Caan boy playing 'Danno' uses the "awkward pause" method of acting his lines; An example is the new show "Parenthood" - the dialogue is so halting and hesitant, it's maddening to know it's okay with the directors today. William Shatner is the only guy who could pull that off properly.

Great location, (especially during winter-season watching), great cast (oh, the chemistry LOL), the action's A+, and stories are exactly what you expect for less than an hour of programming!

It's just pure entertainment!

I wouldn't miss this for the world. Its fabulous, fun, exciting and entertaining. I envy actors like Alex O'Loughlin who have the amazing ability to switch accents back and forth!! I love the characters, love the back story and I'm sure that its going to be a fun ride all the way to the top!!! Wish the entire production everything of the best to be successful. Very exciting action stuff!!

Saw the new Hawaii Five-0 on Monday, complete garbage the old one was light years better, Steve never once said book 'em Danno with a smile on his face.

I thought I was watching a Bruce Willis Arnold Schwarzenegger Sylvester Stallone show without the swearing, this isn't Hawaii Five-0 at all, nowhere near it, I'll be very shocked if it lasts till Christmas

I love that they are making the new H%) about a law inforcement iunit outside HPD..

This explains much of why the newer cast is more exciting and rough around the dges as opposed to the original cast, and theme.

I Love the Trailer, and I hope viewers give it a chance, It almost reminds me of an hourly action flick.. Give me some sexy Alex O and Im a happy Camper in any setting.
