The "Marines" I (female) "counteracted" (local guys) were despicable, greedy and selfish, arrogant, haughty and "Yes!" NARCISSISTIC PSYCHOPATHIC PERSONALITIES. Like salting loathsome "slugs" they completely melted away once I took up the gauntlet and personally fought their "CONTROL" power plays. Hadn't heard of Scientology being characterised quite this way before, but a quick scoot through L Ron Hubbard's (unauthorised) biography makes complete sense of that!

Peck's right; after a close encounter with one of 'em, another is easy to spot. Spooky just HOW brazenly they can create havoc, yet still be thought very well of.

Pride goetheth before destruction...the USMC proclaims pride as a virtue when its clearly a SIN; the corps is permeated with self-idolatry not only is it morally wrong and un-American it creates incompetence hence the string of USMC FUBARs; Beirut, AWOL to Baghdad etc.

I've never taught pride to be a virtue nor proclaimed it. I have seen the marketing of it. But USMC marketing is run by civilian companies. I've never agreed with this and if you get know me you'll see am actually quite liberal and disagree with many potrayals and labels.

@nomorenarcissism I went through the USMC Officer candidate school, and while they do hold integrity and many other great values highly, the Marines themselves are actually not selfless, I think that's very rare that you actually see a selfless Marine except in the heat of battle. I had to drop out after a month because I could sense that they were trying to change the way I thought and acted, to always be violent and in control and to always think that you were right.
