You'd probably get more sustain from a simple hardtail bridge. And with all due respect your video titles are ambitious. I clicked "The greatest guitars in the world" expecting to see a Ramirez.
The wrap around tail piece is excellent from Schroeder but the solid steel tremelo block ( make sure to use that vintage fender style bridge ) I have a walnut guitar that has the tuneOmatic gibson on it and it does NOT have as much sustain as the solid steel tremelo block bridge however that being said the wrap around is louder has more sustain and is a little easier to bend notes on as well as sound amazing useing the tone pros lock studs ! Look it up on stewmac.com !
very glad I found your channel while surfing the tube today...great stuff and I was extra pleased to find your post about walnut guitars. a woodworker friend of mine helped me build a LP style walnut body last winter and it's a gas to play...unique sounding wood. I have the Pearly Gates in bridge and the Jazz in the neck. Sometimes not sure the PG is best for bridge, but both at once, middle possition is dead dude awesome. love it. thx Johnny, love your stuff, keep it up
Is this the one with the hollowed-out sections and a face-piece? There was a moment in this video, when I was suddenly hearing Alex Lifeson in his 335 days.
@GBJPhotoWorks No - this is the other one ! That hollowed walnut 1 piece guitar is being lacquered finished - this one is just has tung oil on it ! it is sweet though like a super flying vee / 335 depending on the pickup selection neck combo bridge etc...

You could go out, have a bite, and the guitar would still be sustaining when you got back.

Very nice. Great sustain and a lot of variation. Everything you need in a guitar. And it looks cool too :-)
