hey klinckestark my name is geoff i have a ford escape 2002 car in australia have u ever had the engine symbol come on in the dash ? mine is and the engine is running rough at 4000rpm the engine shakes thou might of been the engine mounts but some friends say no maybe the sparkplugs you have any advise for me???

@MrEscape73 do you test the engine with the truck running or parked? if its parked its normal, if not, you only got to get it scaned its cheap to know with almost any scan tool

@MrEscape73 if it idles rough. its some type of sensor that needs to be replaced. i had the same problem

i like its shifting to 4th gear on 140kmph, but too bad its not 5-speed since it has about 13liter / 100km, fifth gear would be so helpful :) but i still love the car luxury and enjoyment from riding it.

If this is a new truck, you should break it in before driving like this!! It'll save you some problems (burning oil, anyone?) in the long run.
