  • What a great voice - simply unique!

  • NO ONE, I MEAN NO ONE TOUCHES THIS GREAT LADY

  • Frida and Agnetha, Darlene Zschech, Karen Carpenter..And then there's Patsy, the best ever I think.

  • Such a beautiful lady!

  • @TheChancesmom You got that right!!

  • very nice...video:)

  • Her live recording in front of an audience is so much better than studio recordings from pop singers today.

  • Patsy owned this song!!!

  • March 5, 1963, near Camden, Tennessee; that's the day the music died.

  • This was my grans favourite song :(

  • This was my grand

  • She was the Susan Boyle of the 50s.

  • The very 1st Patsy tune I heard as a kid......and I was hooked!! Yep.....There has been no other like her!! :)

  • there will never be another patsy cline! the mold was broken after her!! she sang from the heart

  • Oldie but good

  • Thank you and I've used your video in one of my articles on Examiner.com.

  • What a great country singer with a wonderful voice - love her !

  • we never met but i sure do miss her

  • I like this . But her Country version is far superior. She had to sing the watered-down pop version to appeal to the Yankees up there in New York.

  • so sad T_T

  • love love love it. Superior to any other female country singer!

  • as a teenager i loved this song hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

  • I love Hank Williams singing this song, but Patsy dose it justice to.

  • Perfect diction, perfect control, perfect dynamic's the best female singer of all time..love it !!!

  • @louisemusiclover ...and absolute perfect pitch....her voice gives me goosebumps-

the only voice that EVER gave me the same reaction was and is the late, great Ray Charles!

  • i favor kitty hank loretta and jim but this wonderful person is very special

  • @mrblindfreddy9999 you got that right about Patsy Cline!

  • oh man! i've only ever heard hank williams' version. love this

  • WOW ,Listen to this great voice ,she was just the greatest ever!!! 10 stars

  • Many have intimated her but none have ever copied that wonderful pure voice, gabrielle931 I totally agree with you. Listen to the purity in that voice.

  • @Patsyclinefan1 I fully agree with you 100% !!

  • All she ever really wanted was to sing, have a family, and the house with the yellow roses...

  • thankyou so much for your videos, these live recordings are too precious!

  • I think Patsy sang this song good, but the band backing her, was just to mellow, or maybe to much of a Jazz sound, for her, because when she recorded it, she did a GREAT job on it!!!! I liked her version of the song, more than Hank Williams original verson!!!

  • Patsy IS the BEST EVER!!

  • I agree, she had much more heart when she sang country, or maybe I just heard it more with the country version

  • ...she was really a 'pop' singer that sang country music very well..!

  • 'Pop' is short for popular. So whatever music that is poplular is considered pop for that time period. The difference between pop now and pop back then is that pop back then was really good music, today the poplular music is crap. So yes she was a pop singer but not in the sense that most people would think.

  • ...i should have said she sang all styles well..including gospel, bluegrass.pop and country...!

  • @jedaiahredden -- I never knew that "pop" was short for "popular!" Wow, you learn something new every day! Thanks for the heads-up.

  • She considered first and formost a country singer, that was some times forced t sing the bland Pop drivel of that Era.

  • I hope no one gets mad, but I like her country version better, which she put on record. She was amazing in any genre- and this works as a Pop tune too, but it loses a bit of its soul.

  • always beautiful :voice

  • what a voice

  • Thanks Hank Williams sr. for writing this wonderful song and thanks to Patsy for her version one great singer!!!

  • You don't get orchestrations like this anymore. Listen to that clarinet respond to Patsy's incredible phrasing. Who'd've thunk the 50s could've had so much soul?

  • i love this song..i love patsy cline thanks for this song amazing and your talented..

    god bless you patsy cline!!:)

  • this woman was one hell of an amazing singer 2 this day there will never anyone that can touch this beautiful woman.

    RIP Ms. Patsy Cline!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I fully agree with you!!!!

  • Thank you so much for this :)!

  • Thank you very very much for posting this. You have certainly made my day!!
