How to recover deleted pictures from a memory card

Can somebody help me please... I lost my camera photos in my samsung galaxy s and I dont also remember deleting the pictures, the photos were saved in phone memory..is it possible that I can retrieve it? Also when I connect my phone to my PC, PC no longer recognizes it and samsung screen just keeps showing MTP application...I dont know what happened..can someone please advice? thank you very much!!

You can take out the memory card and then connect it to computer with a card reader.

does it work for a micro SD card? i cant read mine on my phone anymore and i fear it is broken, it has pictures of my friends and of my cat who died when he was young so i dont have many pics of him

@chloept120 I suggest that you take out micro SD card from phone, and then connect it to computer using a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader.

yeah, you can try this to recover your pictures from your camera card. Two things to note:

1. Before you get back your lost pictures, dont save any file to this card, dont take any new pictures.

2. you may need to take out the memory card from your camera and then use a card reader, or insert the card to card slot. You need to be able to see the card shown as a drive letter in My Computer.
