the type r has 1.8 and 200hp and weights in at about 2800 lbs. where as the s2000 has a 2.0 race inspired 4 banger but puts out 240 and only weights 2200 lbs. its all about the hp. to lb. ratios

wrong again, s2k is not lighter than a type r, a type r is emensly stripped down where as the s2000 was engineered to be as low weight as possible while still carring the bigger engine and xbone fram, it weighs 200lbs more but makes more power, the interga weighs less and makes less power there for matching them up pretty close to eachother!
