I got this phone with my own money. It sucks. Spoiled within 3 months and sent it for repair. Press the call button and it'll dial the last number you called. Doesn't have Wi-Fi, and I'm still stuck with this phone until I top my class. (I'm 10 yrs old.)

@xxmezxx133 How is texting with the HTC Smart? The onscreen qwerty keyboard of the Samsung Star and LG Pop is very small and doesn't register your input correctly. So I went looking for a bit more expensive phone and found the HTC Smart. In several reviews I read that the texting isn't as good aswell.

I like the UI more than Motorola Droid's UI, but it's starting to look more and more like skinned Windows Mobile phones, I mean that Today/Home screen looks exactly like SPB Mobile Shell.. haha

@kiosterud044, I don't think Windows Mobile is doing very well. The iPhone OS and Android seemed to be the OS that are the most popular. Windows Mobile is popular it just seems like they are falling off. If they can do something spectacular with Mobile 7, then maybe, but right now HTC should be Google's phone maker. They seem to be the best and it has brought HTC out of nowhere.

yeah, but HTC isnt they only great PPC maker. The Samsung Moment clocks out at 800mhz, Motorola made the Droid and the Cliq. Theres tons of phone manufactuers that are just as good of not better that HTC. Like, Sony, Dell, Acer, LG, Samsung, and tons more that are coming out..

I think HTC should team up with Google and be or Google buy HTC so HTC would become much bigger cause Android is going up and it is doing it pretty fast. HTC prety much started Android, it will only make HTC mcuh more popular.

I'm pretty sure HTC is waiting until Windows Mobile 7 comes out and if thats a flop then they are probably gonna just go with Google and what it looks like, just regular touch screen phones..

Windows Mobile is not very popular anyways. To business people but that is starting to slip. I guess give it some more time before manufacturers start dropping Windows and picking up Android. I think Google should stick to one company and make 1 bad ass phone so the apps will all have the same SDK,

dont worry, HTC isnt gonna leave android. like the vid said, theyre just makin this phone for the less technologicly smart market, and so they can put a cheaper price tag on it so more people will buy it instead of dishing out $200 for a smartphone..

This phone ain't so good. The processor only 300mhz my phone is 201mhz and so slow... Then again mines on windows... Anyway the standard is like 528mhz. Hd2 is 1ghz. That's fast!
