  • nice bike. i would lose the front fender as well. but i would lose those yuppie seat springs. and runs something more original. or being that its a softail just solid mount it.

  • did it take much custom work to get it as a bobber? or mostly remove stock and put different parts on?

  • @xMaRiTiMeRx just go at it your self. don't put to much time into thinking. just build your own and in the end you'll enjoy just cus the fact you built it. you just need to be mechanically inclined with motorcycles and you should be ok on any project like this.

  • Iron cross on a Jap bike. It's fitting since the Japs and Nazis worked together anyway in WW2.

  • that is sick man. nice job!

  • i would go with the same seat but in black

  • hey man what is the middle length on your bars and what is your riser height.

  • tick over is to fast,

  • Can't ride that in the rain can you?

  • Awesome!! I have a 2006 shadow spirit

  • Where did you get those rear turnsignals

  • Oh, and the passenger pegs need to go

  • Pull the reflectors off of the radiator shroud. That is all.

    Nice bike

  • the sound!!

  • Ditch the Maltese cross, front fender and those stock side covers, then you have a winner...

  • @nhfoos He's got a winner right nao! lol =P

  • Running headers will burn your valves everytime you turn it off shove some rags in pipes

  • oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!

  • so, this is original frame??

  • That bike is so clean!!! I love how the whole bike came out! How did you paint the whole engine?

  • vstar 650 are nice since they dont have radiators and they are easy to convert to bobber but they are shaft driven....second hand vlx 600are easy to find but rear fender frame needs cutting to turn it into bobber.....vulcan 800 are hard to find, with radiator....but they are easy to convert to bobber...which one should i get now?

  • lock my video

  • NICE BIKE

  • Welded a standard solo seat mount kit on the rails. Its pretty easy.

  • how do you get solo spring seat on?

  • how much would something like this cost?

  • how do you attach the solo seat? I want to put one on my VTX

  • seat isnt black xD

  • Did you leave the suspension stock or did you make it hard tail?

  • Awesome job...love it!

  • how did you paint your engine??? and where did you get your seat from?

  • Nicely done.

  • Man that is sweet. I've just began a bobber project on a shadow 750 and was wondering about cutting the pipes. Everyone says "DON"T DO IT!" but hell, if it works well for you then it should work for me (damn I hope so) but I already have the jet kit anyways so it's right there if needed.

  • @WookieKev If you already have the kit, install it. Don't risk permanent engine damage just because you wanted to save a few bucks by not having it installed. Good luck with your build!

  • Fuck, i came at :52. I'm normally a sports bike fan, but you HAVE to respect this if you're a motorcycle enthusiast of any kind. Simply beautiful.

  • Very nice Bob Job.

  • fuckin sick!

  • awesome bike!

I know that it runs fine without it, but if you do re-jett, you will get more power

  • Nice!!

what kind of swing arm did you use for the back or is it stock?

  • perfect man, def. got me motivated to go for a bobber as a project

  • amazing honda shadow bobber!

  • take the front fender off

  • I'm hooked I'm trying to get a 600 vt right now to do something with, way cool bro.

  • sound so cheap! terrible the way it sounds dose`nt match the way the bike looks like! spend i little bit more money on your exhaust your almost there!

  • Can you tell me where you got the springer seat from, I started my shadow 700 bobber project today.

  • how many cc

  • sick!

  • One of the nicest shadow i've ever seen. Good job!

it just misses a little piece of rear fender.

  • One word...., BADAZZ!!!

  • you didnt have to rejet after cuttin the mufflers off! you lucky sob

  • Hell, that is a damn cool bike ! I like the raw look and the sound is fucking great !!

    Good job !

  • how hard was the seat intall? and where did you get your taillight?

  • engine got good sound

  • uuuuoouo

  • Nice!!!!!!

I like the sound of that engine!!!!!

but why is it called bobber???

seriously I hve been listening this world for like 4 days now but I don't know what it means!

  • It's called a bobber because the fenders (front and rear) are 'bobbed' or cut off. Much like the tail of a bobcat.

  • bobbers are bike that have the fenders cut down or removed and anything that doesn't make it go or be functional is taken off.

  • nicely done. But my main concern is that because of the missing rear fender, it sucks to ride while raining or just passing a road with mud and few puddles. I've experience that, my jacket... basically my whole back got splattered with water and road grime. lol

  • so when you cut the pipes, what about back pressure from baffles? does it make any difference? As i have a similiar bike and will do similar mods

  • you could burn the exaust valves after time with no back presure

  • @brandedboy32 hey whats up suo how did the bike turn up? tell me cause i bobbed mine and the pipes are flaming blue

  • nice job leave it as is. But I do have one question Why did you leave the rear foot pegs on?

  • too noisy

  • hey man great machine, im thinking of doing the same too but was wondering how much work needs to be done, as ideally your bike is exactly what im after. Is the rake on the Shadow still stock and was much work done on the frames.

  • wanna sell it?

  • Hi mate,

Firstly nice lookn bike. Appreciate the work you've done. .Will you be putting a rear fender on? Would like to hear more what you did with the pipes in regards to Jet kit. Love the color

  • What jet kit did you install to run the hacked off pipes?

  • i would defiantly put back on the rear fender and chop it...other than that nice bike...cool seat!

  • looks nice but you gotta get rid of the front fender and put the rear one back on and chop it

  • rearry rearry nice motocycer in Japan you be rery rery cool doood!

  • do you just go around to honda bobber videos and talk shit? lolz you probably don't even ride

  • how does it ride?? freeway speeds??

  • coming from a guy that builds bobbers you should at least put a 8 inch fender on the back so you dont get your shirt caught in there, youll go for a nice wipout if the shirt has thick enough fabric, itll pull you right off the back

  • take off the front fender and it will look much better

  • @Burninthemasses Might be against the Law in his state, it is in mine!

  • amazing man, simply amazing.

  • cool bike man, what size tire is in the back or is that a stock tire, if not, what's the biggest size tire the shadow can take without any offset.

  • Very nice!

  • daaaaaaaaaaamn..... cooooool

  • Nice bike. Lose the passenger pegs though (won't do much good now) and take out that huge airbox and filter housing. $30 for a cone style filter on ebay makes it look so much cleaner!

  • Yeah, the passenger pegs are one things.. but that airbox hinders the bike a lot!

  • sounds like shit, not enough back pressure

  • How did you mount the solo seat to sit so nice and flat in the front? Usually they stick up and it looks terrible.

  • this is by far the best looking bobber i have seen on youtube!!! seriously damn good looking bike!

  • Best shadow Bobbe ive seen on youtube

  • shit yeah man. take notes

  • nice bike!!!!!!

  • When you cut the stock pipes like this do you have to do anything else? Or is it just cutting them before the muffler? Did you re-jet? Im looking to do the same thing.

  • awesome

  • i am also going to buy a honda shadow to do this to it. id love to have a harley iron 883 but dont have that much money to dish out. and well this is my one way of having a bike and still having the bobber look. love what you did with the bike. how is the no rear finder working out for you? seems like everything gets kicked up at you like water

  • .........NICE!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice build man.......

  • W O W

  • Great bike !!!!!

  • where did you buy the seat i need that seat and plus where did you get the side covers i need those too lol

  • That looks like a blue collar bobbers seat.

  • Love the back tire too!!!!

  • Fuckin super cool!!!! Ima get started in a few weeks.

Did you get at where the weld is?

  • Wish I could buy it man, sweet, just the way I would do it.

  • Did you take the baffles out?

    Thanks again for the inspersation!!!

  • all i can do is drop my jaw , plus im getting a 600 soooooon i cant wait to make it look and sound like yours , your bike is grand freakin beautiful

  • after cutting the stock pipes what did you rejett with?

  • I didnt rejett at all... it runs exactly the same as it did before the cut. I figured I would need to.

  • @hotlapkyle do you get girls with that?

  • @kenny2z fuck you can get fuckin hell of girls and boys..............

  • @Hawkb0y i dont think you need to rejet unless you change the entire pipes. ride it right before/after you swap the pipes if you feel hesitation/lag or a sputter, anything like that, rejet ASAP riding it like that prolonged can cause damage & turn your pipes a blue-ish purple torch burnt color.

  • @Hawkb0y Great sound!!!! It's only because you cut the pipes or you have done something else?

    Thanks

  • Thanks, yes they are the stock pipes cut right before the muffler welds.

  • wow cool looking bike, is that stock pipe that you cut off?
