i worked it out. capo on 3r fret: [C,D,Em(2x):]repeat 4 times then D (2x) C(2x) D(4x) chorus: again C,D,Em(2x)

but you should use the studio version not the one of the video to play along

Thanks, man! I'd figured out the main part but was having trouble with the D (2x) C(2x) D(4x) part. I suck at figuring things out by ear. :-)
