I am sorry that build didn't go well for you. When I find myself in that situation, I just put it aside and work on something else, and then come back to it later.
I have seen your other work and it is outstanding.
Why did he use that model to destroy, I have'nt seen one of those in years. That was based on an artist depiction of what the F-117 might look like when everyone new we had one but no one had seen it. I built one probably in the mid 80's, of course once the real one was revealed it was totally different from what the so called experts thought it would look like.I don't know if you can even get that model anymore, should have destroyed one that is more common!
Once I felt like I was about to do this to my Tamiya 1/48 Greyhound armored car. Nice model, really pleasant to build and paint BUT two of the wheel emplacements broke when I tried to remove the wheels. Hopefuly I manage to repair that and all, but...
@Basilisk195 Remember the nonsense surrounding this supposed "reveal" of the secret stealth fighter, based on whispered information and educated guesses? Supposedly, Russian agents were buying up the kits like mad and shipping then home. What a crock! It resembled the actual plane about as much as it did an F-18.
...and you're wondering why most business aren't operated in America anymore; they have little patience in their productions...and this is one small example...
American Motors Co. is gone, so is Pontiac Motors; and Quasar TVs; and what ever the hell that was made in here!!!...
omg...seriously the best video ever...i have dumped about 4 aircrafts in the garbage so far...F-22, su-27 ub, mig-29, su-34, su-27 flanker b. The art of building an airplane is to have enough time on your hand and to be single and not married with children.
Sgthamster45. It's the Testors/Italieri F-19 stealth fighter. It was released before any pictures of the F-117 were released. Basically what they thought our stealth fighter would look like. What is funny is they also released the MiG-37 Ferret along with it as the Soviets version of a stealth fighter, and it was angular and faceted. Boy were they way off! Still, both very cool looking! I still have a Ferret (painted two tone brown and grey). Wish I could find the F-19.
This is hillarious, Thats exactly how I was when I started the hobby a few years ago. I would Globb out waaay to much glue then get fingerprints all over the place. One time I used so much glue it melted the Small plastic part I was working on. That blue angle F-16 never had a chance poor thing. Now my models are alot better but there still not perfect, got to keep Perfecting my techniques.
I can't believe people responded like this was a serious presentation..Hey...that guy should take that model just as it appears at the end.."glue it" like he did the forward canard lookig peice to a wood block and submit it to the NASM as a diorama of the premier test flight results.
