@HelpNefarian Why? Think of it like this.. if you level 1 toon to level 85 just say you have a total of 2k gold? Now you have 5 accounts.. Throught all that gold onto your main and presto.. It also helps you level 100% faster. Say your at an elite.. Normaly you would have to kite / pot and do all that mumbo jumbo now you just hit 1 cast a single spell and istead of haveing say 1k damage 5 accounts that 5k damage? Instead of that elite being a 5 minute or deal its now a 10 sec fight.

@D3ADCrAzY I'm afraid that's not the case. Keep in mine you need spells for all 5 characters, arrmor, consumables etc. It's not a get rich quick thing, the money is split between all your characters. And post-cata, you can solo any elite quest with one character no problem. Even the level 80+ ones have no more than 120k hp, and its a 30 second kill. As for levelling faster, unless you're doing raf, I'd dare say I find it slower. Gathering quests in particular take me forever to do.

K. Update. I have linked all my new multiboxing accounts together with RAF for fast leveling. If you are not set up to do 5 accounts right away because of technical problems just do 3 for now and use grant a level to you other 2 linked accounts. Youll be level 60 300% faster for sure. Costed several hundred to get set up though and exactly 100$ to xfer 4 shamans onto alt accounts.(5th stayed on)

Be careful when sending 4 similar named toons (i kept 1 shammy on my 80 account) to different accounts where they will be the only toon. It is a good idea to write a ticket to a blizzard gm and tell them waht you are doing first or they may think you are a hacker and shut all accounts down for a while.

I recently setup a multibox with 2 slaves,

VERY interesting,

but be pre warned, setting up proper macros takes HOURS!!!

and not all classes are good for this, stick to casters, all of the same class.

the most important macro is this

/assist YOUR MAINS NAME

/cast SPELL

this will make sure all your slaves will target the same person.

leveling 1 character at a time is (personally) too time consuming for the rewards. By doing this, we are able to run instances by ourselves, do elite quests, and arenas!

RAM and GPU are essential, 5 people might be a bit much for your pc.

try and run one toon for every half gig of ram you have.

also if you have a multi-core PC split up what cores are running what processes and you should be ok.

your slave screens will always lag a bit, but your main should run normally.

some PC's just cant handle it.
