How long did it take you to chain that evee? Lol it took me like 5 hours to get a beldum even with magnet pull (fucking sand storm ) and even then it took forever to get because of its freakishly low capture rate

i was showing my friend on how to chain pokemon for shinies, so i tried it in the trophy garden. my first pokemon was eevee. i killed it and told him i had 39 more to go before i even came close to finding a shiny. then, on the a down patch of grass, i saw a sparkly patch, ran into it, and it was a shiny eevee. at a chain of 1! :D my friend hates me now (literally), but i love my shiny (now) umbreon. ^_^

I havent exactly caught a shiny by chaining but from what i know... chaining is fighting the same pokemon over and over while using the pokeradar... i try it myself but i only can chain up to 8 and that's it.. to find a shiny you got to have up to 40 or 80 pokemons chains something like that.... hope this helped....

You have to talk to him. And the pokemon in the garden won't change until you talk to him again, so you can find Eevee there for as long as you want.

Eevee is my favorite pokemon ever and im trying to get it and all its evolutions all shiny. right now i got two shiny eevee so far, one i got shiny from bebe whitch made me want to get all shinies and the other i got like this in a chain, i broke my chain in the next battle but it was worth it. though even if i only get my two shiny eevee and no others, at least i got one,

The closest I have had shiny patches to each other was on my shiny zubat chain a couple days ago, was about two resets apart. I think they were in the same max repel, but if not they probably were in back-to-back max repels.

for the pokemon garden thing if you have a pokemon at level 18 as your first pokemon then use a max repel then youll only get either an eevee or a pikachu. i caught loads of eevee this way

It's random every time. I suggest you save before you talk to him and soft-reset until he says he saw Eevee.

To get eevee you must get the national pokedex. After you finish the SHinnoh pokedex u will get the national i belive if u talk to professer oak while ur in sandgem town go to the beach of sandgem town and surf u will see this building a few moments when ur done riding on ur pokemon then u will see proffeser oak and he will give u a pokedex.
