  • sweet Luke & Noah moments are always fantastic to watch, but i like watching their conflicts as well. it shows how their personalities are so perfect for each other. something else i noticed about these two, how sometimes their personalities and storylines can mirror Lily & Holden. not all the time, obviously, but enough to notice that Luke clings and needs to be loved like Lily and Noah is independent and can take the high moral ground like Holden, just sometimes to the nth degree.

  • I wish it was always like this but then stupid reid had to show up and jack everything up. BLAHHH. Stupid writers.

  • Especially in this episode I see a point of argumenet about Noah being the top.:-)Love Van forcing his lips on Jake's.

  • them kissing in public just shows that they dont care about anyone around them. They just see each other. :D Noah's little smile is sooo adorable

  • Since it's tough to see Nuke entering arm-in-arm, I've made some sweet screen caps available for download. Also included are some great shots of Noah looking dreamily at Luke. Possibly my favorite Noah photos.

  • Keep these videos up man ! thanks for posting ~

  • Idk, maybe I'm wrong here but I thought Noah had his hand on Luke's back leveling at Luke's waist.

Anyway, I agree that handholding is revealing in the sense that the individual are romantically involved in some level. I don't see them holding hands any more than a normal couple would. Maybe atwt intends to portray them as normal as possible even occasionally it puts social norm in question... which still manage to make more sense than the mystery murder what's it called worst plot ever

  • Oh, wow, that information on hand holding is really interesting.

  • I've been watching these videos for quite some time, so I figured I should probably comment by now. I love how you always notice little things that I never pick up on. I didn't even realize their arms were hooked until you mentioned it.

"I should add that at least one study in the last 5 years showed that handholding is also somewhat revealing. I believe the person whose hand is on top is the more dominant person in the coupling. "

What if the fingers are laced?

  • I agree with you. Oakdale is a VERY gay friendly place, but look at it this way: EVeryone in Luke's long family tree accepts him and Noah being together, and since everyone in Oakdale is pretty much somehow related, being in Old Town is like being in a really big family backyard!!! XD LOL.

  • Can I just say, that I DON'T handhold. I think it's nasty and looks silly. Sheesh all those awkward childhood memories of holding people's hands. It's just so juvinile to me. It's a personal preference, but I link arms. I think that's more intimate, plus you still have a free hand! (and a lack of sweat on that hand!)

  • I'll say it again, Oakdale must be the gay-friendliest small town in the world. I live in New York City, and gay teens (or adults) simply don't kiss like that in public -- even on the NYU campus in the Village (where I teach). Yet this kiss in Olde Towne, possibly the busiest place in Oakdale since everyone seems to meet in that little intersection. And it was a double kiss! (this is #26; I'll probably stop counting by #30) Not only do they kiss, but watch how the scene opens.

  • The boys are walking arm-in-arm, like an old-fashioned straight couple. Very sweet, but how many couples, gay or straight, still walk like that? My parents did, but I've never done so. My girlfriends and I have only held hands. Handholding is considered less sexist because gender roles are less defined. When walking arm-in-arm, the man's arm is generally looped, with the female's arm entering it and clutching.

  • In this case, Luke is da man, while Noah is da dame. Luke also has his hands in his jeans pocket, a very cute gesture that old lovable Luke used to do. It's also kinda macho.

I should add that at least one study in the last 5 years showed that handholding is also somewhat revealing. I believe the person whose hand is on top is the more dominant person in the coupling.
