lol im gonna try and beat this hypermode, 100% scans and pickups. i did it with the 1st metroid all ready, next is this one. something with it though, is that it saves any scans u had in the previous game after u beat it, so im like just starting the game and i have 94% scans.

The Metroid Prime games aren't so much FPSes as they are first person adventure games with FPS elements. And this is pretty much how dark it is in the actual game, but that's only at the beginning cause you start out in caves.

I got the truilogy as a present from a friend but i own the other three so i can say the only things that really change is some of the lore, the controls a few sequence breaking bugs are not theer anymore and you only need one cd instead of three

Quad, I'm honestly surprised you didn't use the Metroid Trilogy Version for this Let's Play. The Wii controls make Prime and Prime 2 SOOOOO much better!

And for those who own the original Gamecube versions and are debating buying the Wii Version, trust me... you'll LOVE the Wii Version! I own Prime on GC and I think the Wii Version is better. I got past the part I was stuck on. Why? Because I can swap beams faster and aim better. :D

I've played the first one although not entirely through since I got pissed when they told me "Go from this side of the map to the opposite side of the map" and there were Chozo Ghosts appearing in nearly every room. The third one I played through 100% and really enjoyed it because the backtracking wasn't nearly as bad and the motion controls were nice(although the ending was a little bit disappointing) . I played this one only once but never owned it or got far.

Oh god, MP2. I remember getting really, really angry at this because I got the spider ball guardian with 5 energy tanks and didn't realise how many I'd missed. The fact that I'd always die on the last section and would spend hours backtracking if I wanted another tank just put me off for months, lol.

I just finished watching your intro and wanted to chime my 2 cents in.

Too long. Good, but too long. Restrict it to only a few seconds to intro who you are/what you do and then get to the content. Point being, if you use it repeatedly, people should get sick of it after a while.

Maybe keep an extended version up and use a short version? Just my oppinion, it's good though.

Well the deal is I'm only using it once an LP. Not every episode, just once. This is the only time you'll see this intro until the end of Metroid Prime 2 or until I start a new LP on my channel, and I think I'll mix the clips from my different LPs up each time I do the intro. That way, I'll keep it fresh, and you only have to watch it that one time per LP.
