I saw this on IFC three nights ago and highly reccomend it - Maddin has the knack of making films funny and disturbing at the same time. When it's good, it's very good.

Ran across this on youtube today. I'm sorry but looking through this brief view of "My Winnipeg" shows more of a confusing and rather boring look into Maddin's small town life. A "docu-fantasy" is an interesting term...I'll take "It's a Wonderful Life" thank you. Don't confuse art with self-indulgence?
