Yep, JC's will suprise with the right drive. Some tubers disagree (love tubes myself) but i have to wonder if they've actually spent time with this amp. Super versitile. If tube bounce and warmth is in the pedal thats what you'll here from the amp.

i have my JC120, and looking for good drive pedals, that would fit front of it,
i am thinking about boss pedals like MT2
need to try ...
