I'm pretty certain it was "Muslim's". Firstly, pretty much every non-christian nation around the world has some hatred for the USA. Second, how hard would it be to simply NOT launch attack air craft?
That's exactly what happened on that day. NORAD was running some test or other, and as such they didn't launch interceptors to attack/divert the remaining planes. I don't buy half the consipiracy BS on here, but I remain certain that the US government willingly allowed the attack.
