Ya, I know. Pickerel (Chain and Redfin) are actually related to Pike, and look more like them. Walleye are related to none of those. But, apperently, for some reason, alot of "English Speaking Canadians" refer to Walleye as Pickerel. I usually call them Walleye, but when I'm around others that don't, I slip once in a while.
Those are walleye bud, not pickerel, you can tell by the mouth shape.

It's a very small lake close to the northern border of BC. It has several names, Sandy Lake is one of the most common names given to it.

They do fight, but by the time you see them in the vid they are pretty much played out. I use light line (6lb), so we can't just drag them in.
