  • I have messy curly hair. Should I straighten my hair first and then pin curl it or should I just pin curl it on top of my natural curly hair?

  • ahhh I have my exam in hair school today and I have to do pin curls.. damn it, WISH ME LUCK!

  • I needed to see the results? Mine came out curly but not as curly as I would have liked. Is it because my hair was soaking wet when I wrapped the curl? PLEASE HELP!

  • @moriahsalena Yes. I think you should do it on DRY hair.

  • @moriahsalena Your supposed to do it 70 percent dry. Just damp.

  • best pincurl tutorial

  • @kikicoco17 THANK YOU

  • I've never seen that 2-finger method of rolling, I'm definately trying that instead, as my fine hair sometimes just doesn't hold trying to curl it inbetween my fingers - thanks very much!

  • Thank you so much for this tutorial! i just got a long weave and I didnt want to have to curl it every morning. Last night I tried to pin curl it and it came out awful...and took me an hour. This evening after I watched your video I tried technique number 3 and it was so much easier and my pin curls are so much more secure. I cant wait to see how they come out tomorrow morning. Thanks! Keep the tutorials coming!

  • I should have watched this first before I did mine. Oh well, I''ll see how it turned out in the morning.

  • uhm did you put lotion in hair?!?!

  • Is the flat one or the raised pin curl better for those really retro sculpted curls? Is one better than the other?

  • Is this possible on wet hair?

  • My question would be how can i tie my scarf and have it NOT leave the bobby pins mark?

  • Should you put a scarf on after pin curling ?

  • @nafi16t Yes, you can use a scarf, bonnet, or both.

  • @nafi16t yes u should wear a scarf not only to protect the style but to protect your hair from breaking off also. I suggest not to tie it so tightly so that it does not flatten but your hair will come out fine with a scarf on.

  • wow! this really really helped! thanks alot! Just subscribed to ya! :)
