I would love to see her do the handspring stretch with a double twist which i think is a 6.7! I think she is perfectly capable of it. And also is she performs the tsukahara 2.5 twist. She is the top vaulter that doesnt do any yurchenko style vaults. True power
@AngelicPhantom If she doesn't get a very unfortunate injury this year, I'm pretty sure she'll be on the team. I really hope so! I know she can do it ;D
@BoraBoraGirl2001 yup, thats right. When her son was sick with leukemia a few years ago, gymnastics paid for his treatment in Germany, which is why she chooses to compete for them now, to repay them for saving her son's life.
@TwisterFlipp95 Agreed, shes made her point. THere should be a league of mature gymnastics as well? she was always a powerhouse and I would love to see her return to the floor. Alas, she should work on her dance....(an eternal complaint with her)
@ViardotVSGrisi I doubt she trains full-time and puts her body through that stress just to make a point. She does it because she loves it; she's said so in interviews. It's her passion, and I hope she stays around as long as she loves it and can still compete on an international level healthfully.
@QueenieQue I certainly did not mean to sound dismissive in my comment. Chuso is a legend and I am a huge fan. My comments came from being genuinely concerned for her physical well-being. I dont ever want to see my Chuso badly injured. I trust she will know the appropriate moment to exit the field at the height of her glory. Does she have major endorsement contracts? If she does not, it is a major missed opportunity for many companies.
@QueenieQue I agree, but its more than a love of the sport, this is her job, it supports her and her son. I think she is amazing, and can't believe she still has the skills she has.
@ViardotVSGrisi That would be cool! It would be awesome to see alot of the older gymnasts compete, even if they aren't doing the super-difficult elements that the youngsters do.
to think that she competed against the magnificent seven and is still competing.

@Ricoblack2012 Khorkina is Queen of the bars, Chuso is Queen of the vault.

Such a legend. She is PHENOMENAL. Great to see her still kicking ass in a sport now dominated by 15 year olds.

From what I understand, she competes mainly for the prize money, in order to support her family.

So much respect for her (: But I think she should stop after the 2012 Olympics - wouldn't want her to hurt herself by taking things too far.
