  • When I see Jesus, I'm going to fall to my knees,... and faint.

  • 17/12/11/

  • CANT MAKE IT THROUGH THESE SONGS WITHOUT CRYING..

  • You know what; when I come on here and see all of you great people proclaiming your faith, I swear I feel my very soul light up! All of those internet atheists and attention harlots out there can claim their Secularism if they wan't, but I'll tell you this right now; they will never, and I mean NEVER have the brotherhood that we, the Lambs of God, share by virture of our faith.

God Bless you all, Brothers and Sisters, and a Merry Christmas!

  • When we ALL see JESUS, we will sing and shout the victory,, hope many people will save so that ALL of us will see our BEAUTIFUL GOD.

  • 12/11/11/

  • pray for me people i want to hold on to my God and Jesus tightly but sometimes its hard..i cant do this alone pray for me PEOPLE OF GOD!

  • @penillak I'm praying for you. Remember, God is holding onto you. As long as you sincerely seek Him, you will find Him. He is always always with you. I speak from hard experience, and from deep, deep joy.

  • Atheists are bummers and have no life! they go to Christian channels just to "dislike" a video. just like God changed my life He can do it for you too but you are refusing His love and existing. [[yall need prayers,]]

  • @strumstickJoe this makes the second video i've seen you making derogatory comments toward our religion. why do you feel the need to stir up crap. leave us to ours we'll leave you to yours.

  • why do people upload videos like this

i like them but not if they are talking in middle

  • Wow! Growing up in a southern Baptist church, this DVD is like a "greatest hits" of gospel hymns I sang too many times to remember. Thanks for sharing this!

  • The second song is so beautiful..Alan has such calming voice..

  • does anyone know where i can find this dvd i want for my dad plaese let me know..thanks you

  • I do that alot. I may not turn on my radio many times a day. However I do come on youtube. several times a day, and listen to music such as this, and just let it wash over me. No matter how bad my day has been, or even how hetic, it soothes me and calms me down. God is so good, and working through my life daily.

  • @StrumstickJoe Horror and Immorality you say, The life in heaven is a gift through which we get though salvation, and if we do not accept Jesus as our savior then we don't get that gift, that's how that works. And it does not devalue this life because this life was meant to be lived for God, that's where they get the expression "Coming Home" because we were made by God and we go back to God...So tell me how this life is devalued again?

  • WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SONG MY FATHER DIED ALMOST AYEAR AGO I GOT SO MUCH CMFORT FROM THIS SONG GOD BLESS YOU

  • Congregação Cristã no Brasil

  • What a promise what thought what a Saviour

  • beautiful song....I cant wait to see Jesus

  • @Llanfairny You express the horror and immorality of religion! Your belief that there is another life to go to devalues this our only life; that is the reason people have killed and died for faith.

Peace on earth. It's the only shot you get.

Stop believing in that which is nonsensical.

Imaginary friends are for lonely children.

  • Great blessings to our souls. God Bless you Alan.... :)

  • I'm home and humbly ask God for another day to spread the word, Pray today for those less fortunate and God's tender Mercies for you and your Loved Ones. Amen

  • Warms my heart to listen to these great ole gospel hymns!

  • Beautiful...

Kathysomerswalsh...I would say you are Canadian from NB...I love Alan Jackson as much as I love myself!!!

  • i lve all the old gospel songs

  • I lost my mother yesterday.....thanks for these songs. It brings comfort to me to know that mom is with Jesus right now.....she has Jesus in her heart and this song helps me to feel a bit at ease except for the hole in my heart with her loss, but I know she is singing with Jesus right now .....RIP MOM....Joan Evelyn Menzies Somers I will always love and miss you and when we meet again is a day that I can hardly wait for....xoxo

  • @kathysomerswalsh I also lost my mother Elin a month ago, she passed away March 31. 2011 sudden and unexpected. This song comforts me too. We will meet again, I just know it! Today it is a month since her funeral, and I am thinking about her with love, respect and joy, she was a remarkable woman, and I am sure your mom was too. A big warm hug for you <3

  • @Livsvisjon May God in all his love come and comfort you at this sad time

  • 7 People Were Not Called! ;)

  • Sing the wondrous love of Jesus; Sing his mercy and his grace. In the mansions bright and blessed He'll prepare for us a place. [Refrain:] When we all get to heaven, What a day of rejoicing that will be! When we all see Jesus, We'll sing and shout the victory! Onward to the prize before us! Soon his beauty we'll behold; Soon the pearly gates will open; We shall tread the streets of gold. [Refrain]
  • And the preacher said..................AMEN!!!!!! Great music. When I was growing up, my Mom, Dad and I would sit around the kitchen table after supper with our Baptist Hymnal and just flip through page after page and sing hymns. My Mom sang soprano, I sang alto and my Dad was a very low bass.....oh, how I miss those days...it was so much fun.......

  • I too grew up in a Primitive Baptist Church and still attend there. And while Primitive Baptists are steeped in tradition, we have made a few changes. We now have piano music along with our singing. But as much as change can be good, sometimes it can be not so good. Therefore we still cling to our heritage.

But sometimes the old ways are still the best!

Just look at the mess "CHANGE" has put our country into today!

  • For the record I am 25 and as I stated before I grew up in the Baptist Church. I have scene renounced Baptist, not that Baptist are bad people but for the most part the Baptist people as a whole are bound up in religion and tradition and do not allow God to move the way he wants to move. I've seen God do amazing and powerful things and not one of them happened in a church that refused to let go of the old ways. God doesn't change, but he does adapt to the times. He knows what will reach people.

  • i love this song and when Alan Jackson sings it it is more powerful i love all his Christian songs God Bless you all

  • In Jesus name there's no barrier about our religion,HE loves us all....

  • Is Alan Jackson a Catholics? can someone reply please?

  • @neda2605

  • When we all get to heaven what a great song, what a happy paradise is in heaven.

  • Love the old gospel music, It does have more meaning than alot of what you hear these days

  • ilike this song

    alan jackson ilove u

  • I have not heard this song since I was like 6 I love this song!

  • I absolutely love hymns! I am young adult but it is what I grew up on. I like contemporary music but nothing touches you like these old hymns.

  • I LOVE THIS COUNTRY GOSPEL,I'M READY ARE YOU.

  • GREAT SONG, I WISH WE COULD HEAR MORE OF THE OLD GOSPEL HYMNS FROM MORE COUNTRY STARS

  • yes I agree!!!!! Praise the lord for this song!!!!

  • It's sad how we only love certain people in church...no longer this beautiful family.

Eventually the young will be old...and their songs "Hymns"

So why do we kick each other out :(

Lose the hymns..you lose love...and don't even know it

  • @ Ragdoll143 - I was just telling my hubby this past week that I think churches should do a mixture of old hymns in with the more modern music so young people will not lose the old hymns. I do realize that through the years all of our tastes are different with each age group. However, let's not lose the old hymns ... one day, these newer hymns and songs of praise will probably be the "old" hymns, too :):)

  • I'm 16. i prefer these hymms to the contemporary music! they just speak to me! make me happy [: ahhh, i love it!

  • @ragdoll143 - Sincerely impressed with your intelligence re these hymns (from a grandfather)

  • Nothing beats the old time gospel music. Todays contemporary Christian music is crap. "Modern" churches today are more secular than they are sacred.

Some churches (so called) today are so much like the world that if not for the preaching (which is so watered down its nothing more than a 20min pep talk) you wouldnt know if you been to church or a rock concert.

Jer 6:16 "see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls."

  • @doomsave3 While I agree with you about many church services these days (it seems ministers are afraid they will "offend" if they preach anything other than "life is great, you can have it all by living a positive life"....and are afraid to call people what we really all are...SINNERS) I would be careful about calling any music that praises God crap. Any music that offers praise to our Creator is worthwhile vs any and all non-religious music.

  • Hi Twofiress - I just lost my grandmother and I flew from CA to NC to be with my family. This song was played at her service and really it touched my soul. ALthough I had never heard it, it will forever be a part of a special day. Thanks so much for posting. I've now watched the video at least 15 times and find comfort in it. - Bob

  • adicionei em 24/09/2010

  • i like Alan Jackson because he always sing to The Lord

  • The songs I know by heart sung by Alan Jackson sound like liquid gold on my ear. Beautiful.

  • @charlottebeckster I totally agree with you. Even though i love the songs of worship and praise of these days, I really love the old hymns and I miss them.

  • I know your waiting Lord and I can't wait until the day I'm set free!! I feel you daily tugging at me. I'm so tired of avoiding your calling. Take my hand Lord!!

  • i love these old hymns!!! brings back good memories of being a little kid at church singing at the top of my lungs. alan jackson is great but i love these hymns best when my granny walks around the house singing to our Savior! =]

  • these songs remind me of my grandma

  • amen to that !!!

  • Cudowna piosenka - gratuluję za wybór i przemiłe jej wykonanie!!!!!!!

  • for my poppy............ i love you!!!!

  • Being a Christian in the Church of Scotland, we sing old and new hymns. When the hymns are happy we sing and clap, but the teachings never change. Our church is filled to bursting on a Sunday morning with old and yound alike, the children have a participating roll made to be like fun for them but it is the teachings of our Lord that will set them up for life. These same children love it and will come back week after week desperate to take part in readings, May the good Lord be with you all.

  • Jesus, quão doce nome. Alan, Deus lhe deu um dom, e é maravilhoso ver você usá-lo para Jesus.

..."Manso e suave, eis Jesus convidando... ...Vem já, vem já" Esse é o convite que Jesus faz a mim e a você.

  • I'm love Alan Jackson

  • Praise the Lord! I didn't know Alan Jackson was born again. I hear his secular songs on country radio up here in Canada. God is good. Amen?

  • you cant beat old country gospal

  • Old time religion Hymnals Praise the Lord

  • I long for that day to come, when we all get to heaven, we'll see JESUS' face at last, I will meet all my brothers. Have you ever take a time to image that day? how wonderfull it will be or you just consider it as a hypothetic matter? Jesus is coming back for HIS church, let's get ready dear brothers, we have to meet that day, I must know you at last, we must behold the glory of the HOLLLY, HOLLY, HOLLY GOD.

  • Amen to that, much Amen.

  • Then Rockstar, I hope to meet you that day in Glory. May God Bless you while we wait JESUS' coming.

  • "When We All Get To Heaven" by Alan Jackson is my least favourite hymn, on my favourite CD. I know that it was written for Christian believers. However, today's false teachers tell us that all paths lead to Heaven. This simply is not true! Jesus Christ in the ONLY way.

  • @MrCairokid "all" meaning the saved...not everyone ...wide is the path to destruction ----read & be educated ..

  • Jesus Is Caliing. He Wants Us To Follow Him. God Bless All Of You!!!!!

  • AWESOME!!! :D

  • I love gospel music. :)

  • @MUSICROX83 Me too. Growing up, my family was hugely active in our church, and I can remember so many concerts. and watching my mom in the choir, she gave me the insperation to join a choir later on. Then as a teenager, I stayed active in a different chuch and in that one I was in the choir, and we had so many beautiful concerts. It is some of the best memories growing up.

  • I love Alan Jackson! I want to play his songs at me and my fiance's wedding!

  • alan jackson has the most amazing voice

  • Alan did all these songs for his mom. More proof that nothing is more important than a godly mother.

  • you know he didn't make this songs

  • Thanks twofiress for posting many of Alan's beautiful hymns. God Bless you and Alan for bringing them back to so many of us....

  • love guys love

  • How great to relax in Jesus with Alan´s music!!!! God Bless Him.

  • @memigar052550 amen

  • guys love just listen to the great music here

  • love it

  • I remember no country act would ever release an album without a gospel song ending each side of the vinyl...too bad they don't anymore

  • How dare you my friend to judge contemporary music...Men looketh on the outside appearance but God looketh on the heart...

I enjoyed singing to God both old gospel and new CCm music...so please be very careful on your comments...

I just want to rebuke u for saying that crap thing...God bless u..

  • Comment removed

  • wow..I don't expect that from a preacher....u know pastor.....there is no CRAP/GARBAGE songs..as long as we are singing it for God...though we are not pleased by the melody or lyrics of some Christian songs nowadays....who are we to judge!!!!

though my comments may hit your ego as a preacher but it s my duty as ur brother to remind u of this unethical conduct////

"JESUS IS THESAME YESTERDAY TODAY AND FOREVER" ........though music may evolve but never for Jesus////

  • Sorry if I have offended you, but I said nothing that was not true. Maybe your not use to sound biblical, open rebuke with authority preaching. Commonly hard pills to swallow if one comes from a modernist church with water downed preaching and liberal ideals. Not saying that is you but with the replys you give i would suspect suchisthe case. Let me break it down for you in the next post.

  • as long as we are singing it for God A comment like that would fall in line with the dangerous belief of: It dont matter what you believe in, all paths lead to the same place though we take different roads. Which is true in the sense following anything other than true Christianity, in accepting Christ as your Saviour, will lead to Hell. So no, even in music believing that all you have to be is sincere regardless of the way you take is not true.

  • Your comments did not hit my "ego" as ego has nothing to do with it. What I have said does not come from from ignorance, pride, ego or tradition etc It comes from hard lessons learned through intimate knowledge of music that the Lord has given me wisdom to discern. I was not always a preacher, I use to be the lead guitarist in a hard rock band. So I know a lot about the influence music has on people and the source from which much of its sounds originate.

  • oh..comm'n...I've visited ur channel and do u have a lot of bad comments...." U can determine a tree by its fruits.."

  • Nothing bad there friend. Again maybe some tuff pills to swallow for liberal modernist with itching ears, nevertheless sound doctrine.

  • anyways...I wouldn't waste my time arguing with some lunatics in here...

the thing that offended me ....that CRAP and GARBAGE thing about CCM...why not just encourage us to be watchful for the music nowadays...instead saying those bad things....probably that would make u believable as a preacher ,,,if u really are..GOD bless..

and u are questioning my faith in Christ..hahahaaa.."JUDGE YE NOT SO WONT BE JUDGED'

  • So Im a lunatic now? Thats ok, Jesus was called worse by the pious in his day. And I think it is clear that I have encouraged people to avoid the majority of CCM with emphasis of it not belonging in the church. Sorry if my use of the words of crap and garbage offended you. I am just calling it for what it is.

So not saying bad things would make me a more believable preacher? Was Jesus not believable? Read Matthew 23:13-39, and see how Jesus spoke to the scribes and Pharisees.

  • @2Timothy4vs5 : Right on Brother! Writing Jesus Christ as a cigarette brand name doesn't make it any holy, same goes with bible words mixed with worldly music

  • @okeogwo Thank you for your kind words concerning my comments, it was a blessing to me.

  • "it s my duty as ur brother to remind u of this unethical conduct" No brother it is not your duty to confront me on this being there is nothing "unethical" of my conduct or principles. But I do admire your watchfulness and boldness.

Christ is unchanging, yes. Gods values dont change nor what He considers holy, nevertheless what mankind values and considers holy does. The majority of modern Christian music is not holy.

  • wow....how did u know that///MAJORITY of MODERN CHRISTIAN MUSIC IS NOT HOLY..by saying that is pathetic....by your standard i guess....

Did u conduct a MUSIC HOLINESS SURVEY????

  • Sarcasm is the last resort of the foolish. If you know Christ as your Saviour then I call you my brother, though you be stiff necked and dull of hearing.

  • where is encouragement on ur comments...instead u want people to hate those Christian artists...by saying those foully words...I hope we should be very watchful in using words..we Christians should BE A GOOD example in words and n deeds....

  • hahha....anyways....I just scrolled out the comments below and I was surprised that ur comments and mine covered almost the whole page .....hahaha..

  • lol yeah I guess we have provided the entertainment.

  • huh...sori if i put too much on this...anyways...Alan Jackson is one of my fav country artist.....and MercyMe's version of Hymns is pretty cool too,,, I hope u like it too...

  • No problem, same here. I just hate to see churches losing their sense of holiness. Nothing wrong with new songs and quality music but it's becoming all about entertainment. When the music is the focus and last longer than the message something is wrong. And in the words of Forrest Gump; Thats all I got to say about that. lol

  • @2Timothy4vs5 : You are SO right..The Lord never said, "go ye into the world and sing but preach to a lost world

  • While I am not a fan of CCM in church I am not against it all. I really like Ginny Owens. Her voice is angelic. Her song "If You Want Me To" brings me to tears everytime I hear it.

  • Let me check that one..

  • @2Timothy4vs5 : AGREE!!

  • @2Timothy4vs5 This is so true I love your old country church have been in the same church for 28 years and we have not strayed off the old path praise God my church is Sempronius Baptist church in Moravia, NY if You are in the area stop in for a visit

  • Sir, you've got your religion and your traditions, so did the pharisees that Jesus had so much trouble with. The message is "Sacred", not the method. Today's generation will not set foot in our "Traditional" churches because they are absolutely sick of "religion". People are looking for life and hope that can only be found in relationship with a living God. We have to get away from that religious stuff that keeps us from getting outside the church walls and reaching the lost as Jesus said

  • @childaking1 Well...church is important too..."forsake not the gathering of yourselves together..." I get sick of religion too..you can find "religion" at any horse race or UFC match...but true spirituality comes with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and following his commandments. help the poor, visit those in prison, take care of the orphans and widows....he said as you take care of them, you took care of me...what a might Lord we have.

  • @2Timothy4vs5 AMEN BROTHER!!!

  • @2Timothy4vs5 How unfortunate but you are so correct

  • @2Timothy4vs5 I will always love the traditional music more than any other. And I do agree that most of the contemporary music isn't worth listening to, but there is some really good contemporary Christian music out there. There are very few that I listen to. However, I prefer having traditional music in the church service. To me it is just a more reverent way to worship God.

  • @2Timothy4vs5

I agree with you. You are absolutely right.

  • @2Timothy4vs5 I for one love the old gospel music, alot of todays music has alot less meaning

  • @2Timothy4vs5 Glad to see someone else feels that way. I can't even sit in our sanctuary because the music is sooooo loud it hurts my ears and gives me heart palpitations (I have a neurological disorder). I love a small traditional church that plays the good old hymns and preaches the Good Book! And don't EVEN get me started on what passes for Sunday school today!!!!

  • Amennn - I've got my ticket on for the plane ride up - since 1968, You coming along? Tell me about it. I would not want to believe something I was not excited about!!

  • 100809 CCBr hino 434 Somos jovens

  • I just love country gospel music. Praise the Lord!!!

  • i love this song!

  • Alan Jackson is good! wow

  • Wow, can Alan sing! His gospel songs are fantastic! Thanks for sending Jeff! :)

  • Sure it will be a great day of joy when we all get to heaven, i lived 33 years of my life in sin, i found jesus three months ago and my life has changed for good, if you have tried everything in life , why not try jesus, god bles
