  • The local pet shop told me you cant mix fighters and angelfish because the fighter mistakes the angelfish for another male fighter therefore killing it

  • waut so when they chase each other thats them mating because my dolmation mollies have ben doing that alot latley if my fish becomes pregnant can i keep the fry in a 2gallon tank for a short while

  • Did they have babies? I can't wait until my molly is pregnant :)

  • nice tank

  • @ thefishkeeper100: no seperate tanks needed just leave them together. But also provide lots of plants for babies to hide in.

  • i have 4 guppies and i'm gonna breed'em but ppl say that i need to seperate the males and females so they can grow properly, or something like that, i just wanna know if u need to do that whit mollies/platys/ and the other ones that looks like platys but has a long sword on the tail, becouse i cant have 4 tanks.. in my room , mating tank, fry tank, male tank, female tank.

  • @TheFishKeeper100 Guppies need to be separated from each other because they can start mating before they are even fully grown. A juvenile guppy that is pregnant can cause it to stop growing and other health problems. What I would do if I were you would be to look up when each species is able to mate (eg 6 weeks or something) and separate the males and females a few weeks prior. once the fry are big enough not to fit in the adult fish's mouth they can be put back in the tank with the big ones (2)

  • @JaneEyre29 (2) if you want just two tanks you could keep them in the fry tank until you separate them and then just put one of the sexes back into the main tank. Once both are fully grown you can put them all back in and repeat the process :D

  • You should not have angelfish with the molly fry because angelfish are predators

  • @kooooookeeeeee1 I have mollies with angels.

  • Yes they can... Its the same species different colors

  • can black mollys and dalmation mollys mate?

  • @BRRLL100 Yeah, they're just different strains. It's like breeding a green guppy to a blue guppy.

  • Wow gorgeous female. Hope the fry turned out nice! Good luck with future batches!

  • be care full. you have baby molly killers in the tank! (their angle fish!)

  • I didn't see any mating either.. However, nice tank! I have two pearl females and a black male. I've neer seen the dalmation's before but they're beautiful!! I want one now!! :)

  • I didn't see any mating there.

  • nice tank
