@Matrixxful bruk up started in Jamaica by a dancer with a broken leg, it was taken to america and elements of popping were introduced to it like any street dance. Then factions of it were divided and it was re worked and re done into different styles like mutation and junggle movement. If you think it's wack it's not because of the dance, it may be the dancers aren't skilled enough. but the dance has foundation and skilled dancers within it

@AVPlenum Look , not matter what anyone says about the style. I think it is a nice twist. I am a turf dancer/cwalk/popper. A lot of turf dancers may not respect the style new york has sometimes because a lot on concepts come from my side of the country (bay area), but bruk up belongs to the east coast and whatever comes of it. When I saw this dance, I recognized a lot of the movements and THAT SHIT WAS DOPE!!!! Keep doing your thing.

Finally a style of popping/boogaloo I can respect. I am a turfer/popper. Flexing and Jooking are supposedly from their places of origin, but I know my history. Those are off shoots california west coast funk dance. Now they do have thier own way of dancing, but you can tell there is a extremely close relation between turf, flex, and jook. Turfing has been around since 1965 and before in oakland.

@duvaljam and it is bruk up which i state all the time..its a junggle type syle that came abt wen i was battling in the bronx in a club called wild palm(2001)..just like bruce lee's jeet kune do style..90 percent of that style is made up with foundations of wing chun..but hes still respected with his art and style..& so is da junggle style movement is 90 perecnt of foundations of bruk up..my style is body control exaggerated animalistic original movement..its how you perceive your inner animal
