I agree, and I think more ppl need to see story in games instead of just senseless reaction and aptitude. I really think Beyond Good & Evil is a work of art. It might not have had its chance back then, but hopefully a publisher can reboot the franchise again someday.

Only few games provide such a worthwile experience as BG&E, and unfortunately I haven't played such a game on the current console generation.

Well, a sequel to BG&E is in the works at Ubisoft, even though there were rumors that development had been put on hold.

@TheronInc dont worry i heard they will be selling beyond good and evil 2 around 2012 2013 we will have to be patient till then :)
