I liked seeing your opinions in this vid, but I do have an issue with something you said: I own Ace Combat 6 amongst many of the other titles, therefore, am I not a true fan? Are true fans the only people who stick to the Sony exclusives?

Only early last year they wanted a 3D Texture artist to paint and model realistic airplanes for an upcoming game on the PS3.Then in Dec 2009 two names were patented as Skies of Fury and Skies of Hostility
with PS3 only in japanese next to it. Ace Combat 7 seems to be all but confirmed and potentially PS3 only.
You people worry too much about whether its going to come out on ps3 or not. If you guys were true fans, you wouldn't care which console it came out on. IMHO Ace combat 6 was the best in the whole series, considering gameplay. Anyways, the processors for the PS3 may look powerful, but they're not. I'm all for XBOX 360 and PS3 Release of this one, because I'm not paying the outrageous price of a PS3, and XBOX live is so much more awesome than PS3's online gameplay

I've been playing since air combat came out in 1995 for the psx, and it became my favorite game ever since. I just don't see how, if anyone declares themselves a fan of any game, that they would take offense for a game going to a different console. If AC7 Is ps3 exclusive, I guess I have to buy one to play it. And FYI, me not buying a ps3 won't keep any game from being exclusive.
It is entirely possible that this was for Ace Combat Xi...that is...until it said future PS3 game, lets hope that Namco puts a lot of effort into this and maybe look over what some Ace Combat fans have been wanting for the game
Not to get cocky but I am a good drawer, I think if NAMCO asked the main Ace combat fan base, then the game would be a lot more satisfying! I have a 360, I didn't buy a PS3, too expensive at the time.. I may get one if AC07 is released on it! If the fan base decide what we want we can put our ideas to NAMCO and maybe they will take them onboard! It's worth a try! I have got some designs for characters, vehicles and aircraft!
Yeah, I've always wished they'd ask, because I also have some blue-print style drawings of tanks, planes, APC's, helicopters, and more. I also made a script for a mission 1 of my idea of an AC7. I don't know what the address of BandaiNamco is though, so that's why I've never written.

@f22cool Yes yes yes, unfortunately I have owned every one since Ace Combat 4, and the only reason why I don't have AC1, AC2, and AC3 is because I didn't play video games until 2001. After playing AC4 and then AC5, I felt I had to get AC1, 2, and 3, except I don't own a PS1 of PSX. Maybe if you watched any of my videos you would know. And if I have never heard of AC5, why would my username have "Razgriz" in it? I do agree that AC6 was a dissapointment though.

Sorry, but not having any media player that exceeds DVD format does mean it sucks, thus, they are NOT equal.
There's no comparing Single Layer DVD(4.7GB) or Double Layer DVD(8.54GB) to a Single Layer Blu-Ray(25GB) or a Double Layer Blu-Ray(50GB). They are far from equal.
@iceyou88 I left a comment, a moment ago on this matter, ace combat belongs with the Playstation consoles it always has, AC6 was an insult to the fans big time.
The PS2 was awesome, but Sony betrayed me, they betrayed everyone by launching an over-priced console with crappy games and a crappy "Six Axis" controller. Plus the whole console is too big, I cannot find a place to use it anywhere! Until Sony makes a smaller, $200 version then mabey I would buy it.

That'd be very nice, really. AC6 is the ONLY game of the series I don't have (yeah, I even have the GBA game) - I could buy a PSP for the specific purpose of having ACX, but a 360 was too much.
I hope Namco would look back to the very first AC games when creating AC7. Recent AC games lack the good old style of games like AC3.
Good job on gathering information mate. I will be extremely pissed if they just port AC6 over to the PS3. Everyone should know that AC6 is the worst game in the series, due to a weak story, and only 16 planes.

i played ace combat on ps2 and then i bought a xbox 360 and i played ac6 on it( it wasnt good anyway so you ps2 and ps3 gamer didnt miss anything)

LOOK at killzone 2 or metal gear solid 4. MGS4 is a long great game because of blu-ray and the ps3's hardware.
