I'm a massive Vols fan from the UK but have to agree with previous comments that their band were just about the worst choice to bring over. Purely for the fact are orange! All it takes is for one person to misunderstand who they are and it could've got very ugly indeed.

We could have at least sent a good band to Ireland (Like the Showband of the Southwest (Texas), Best Damn Band in the Land (Ohio State) or the Million Dollar Band (Alabama), rather than this bunch of dreck.
The University of Tennessee's "Pride of the Southland" was the best choice to send to Ireland. The band's musicality and showmanship makes them better than any band listed here. Great Video- Go Vols!
because that is their school color, which has nothing to do with religion in America. The Lord Mayor of Dublin liked them enough to personally invite them to march this parade. You should see how much people love this band in the States.
Oh my..you are a dumb ass, go kill yourself! You dont care about The States or this band, well get over it. The fact is that they marched in your stupid ass parade, which most likely made it exciting. It is not every day you low lifes get to see a great U.S. University band. You should be honored, you ignorant, ungratefull animal. Now shut up and deal with it.
Not in America, PAL. There's a reason they're called the "PRIDE of the Southland". They have traditions unrivaled in college football. If you're going to be like that then who cares about Ireland? Get over it...
I couldn't help but cringe when I saw this... I'm glad the UT Band got out of there alive and nobody mistook them for a bunch of Protestant Orangemen... wearing ORANGE on St. Patrick's Day = PROTESTANT SUPREMACY... people die in Belfast over things like this...
Holy shit... one of those trombonists was SHORT!
