This guy Harold is really not the best interviewer for Elisha. My previous comment is a bit harsh, but the interaction in this interview was horrible. Elisha had to exercise much patience! Like Harold said, substantially different generations. Not to mention the language barrier and Harold's repetitive "do you understand". Ugh

It is very clear to me. He is interested in the great talent that came from parents who are not musicians but there is another great talent in the background, Alexander Scriabin. It is genetics and not the way he was raised.
Why does the professor stress the word "genes" to the extent that he does in this interview. What does he want to get at? Genetic differences between people?
