do you not switch your shoes? you're supposed to switch feet after every class so that both shoes get worked evenly. your one shoes shank isn't even broken while your other shoe is destroyed. that is not good use of technique. You need to learn to get over your box more on the unbroken pointe shoe.

I'd just like to comment that the shoe it self only gives support and experienced dancers can dance in ordinary ballet shoes on pointe your feet just have to be strong enough, so long as she has strong feet and can support herself it's ok, but agreed she would be better off with a new pair
