I don't understand why ATWT has to speed through the storylines. The whole point of a soap opera is that things are supposed to unfold at a slower pace. That's the great strength of the medium. That's why people watch.
Some soaps (cough - Y&R - cough) drag out storylines way longer than they need to be dragged out, but ATWT should slow things down a little.
By the way, Jean Passassante is cooking up a truly a-Paul-ling storyline. It's not about what's in his heart, but what's in his *head*.
Great clip. This must have aired on the 13th, because Valentine's Day 2004 was a Saturday.
