The original is really good, especially for an anime dub done in the 80's but I have to disagree with your hatred of the new dub, though only because I really like the voice actors in the Pioneer one.

Could be because I saw the old dub first, and a bunch of times. I couldn't grow fond of the actors and hated the new dialogue, but whatever, no one cares =P
