@jmartinez639 I have also bought tabs from John's site and everything single tab, from Most Evolved to Fuerte to Aguila Cosmica has been pretty darn accurate. Of course the timing and rhythm can sometimes get a bit confusing, in which case one simply opens up a youtube video of John playing the song and watch and learn. Problem solved. I have a feeling that you either purchased the wrong tab or didn't put any effort into learning the rhythm.

Play the video again with the TAB in front of you. Then at 56 secs start following it. You'll find it's fine. The other reply from 'johnclarkemusic' should have told you that. Oh and there's some bass notes come in a bit later but you won't find them there. That's an overdub.

John has some serious skills, but in my humble opinion, most of his songs sound exactly the same. I start thinking "didn't I just hear this song?" Because the rhythms and structures are very similar. I think he needs to mix it up a bit more
